DUDE HAHA!!! based on our previous college conversation... I know what establishment you're referring to. Makes that so much more funny.
Haha yep, was a fun job. My friends like it, as I let them in for free.

:( What Kit said. In the short time I've known her Aunt, I can say that she was one of the strongest persons I've ever met. She reminds me a lot of my great grandmother with that "Never give up, no matter what" attitude. My great grandmother died of repeated strokes that slowly crippled her more and more. Why do the strongest always have to go out in such ways?

:D Spent the day with my daughter while Kit went shopping. We watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (80's), played with some action figures, and then watched that new Pac-Man show. I really didn't like it all that much, but she loved it and wouldn't let me turn it off.

:? Perl is not my thang. This:
perl -e 'my $mainpath = $ARGV[0]; use YAML::Syck qw(LoadFile); my $main_ref = LoadFile($mainpath); print ref $main_ref->{parked_domains}."\n";for my $key (keys %{$main_ref->{addon_domains} } ) {print "$key\n"};for my $key ( @{$main_ref->{parked_domains} } ) {print "$key\n";};' /path/to/domains | while read domain; do nsrv=$(dig ns +short $domain | head -n1);ip=$(dig ip +short $domain);if [ -n "$nsrv" ];then echo "$domain -> $nsrv -> $ip" | grep -v 'connection\ timed\ out';fi;done

Yeah, it's ugly looking, but doing that in C++ would be many more lines. Perl is ugly, but it does text processing very well.

Seeing that block of Perl makes me sad at how little I know abotu programming and scripting. As somebody who only has a working knowledge of basic web scripts like HTML, CSS, Javascript and VB.NET, that stuff blows my mind a bit XD

I'm a happily married guy, but there is a clerk at a grocery store (well two actually) who flirts with me all the time, and being a natural flirt, I can't help but flirt back. (My wife certainly lets me know if I lay it on too thick)

She's shuper gorgeoush and shpeaks with a lisp.

I think the reason I find her so cute, besides the usual body parts, is her lisp. For all I know she's playing it up, but there is something about it that's almost revealing. And it's not like Stan's Sister's lisp (South Park), it's very light and her voice is very, very gentle. She's like a flirty Sandra Bullock in glasses with a lisp who checks out your groceries.

Not sure why I shared that information, but there you go.

Smile: Severe thunderstorm warning for my county. Love thunderstorms.

Frown: Chin up Kit&Jinx.

Not gonna lie - when I go to the grocery store I don't look for the shortest line, I look for the line with the cutest cashier.

Not a thing wrong with that. Easily attainable but forbidden is seductive.

Frown: Had to cancel a poker game today, for tonight. This really bites as I'll be missing my time with the guys and meeting new people and their money. Poker night is also the only night I smoke a cigar in the house, so that's out the window as well.

Oh, and cannot believe someone other than me just spoke of the Outer Banks..
She's fine, she's having a baby.

Half of my friends always go to OBX every Labor Day. It's the Myrtle Beach for civilized adults.
Glad to hear it.

I don't blame them, since the OBX is an awesome place to visit, though living there year round is HELL! And I've never been to Myrtle Beach, but how can anyone associate civilization with the OBX? The lack of it (well, culture at least) is what drove me out! Three thousand people and at most 1-2 other people with similar interests as me? FAIL!

Honestly, the OBX is an amazing place to visit and travel to, I can imagine everyday life has its certain appeals, but for a person coming of age entering the work environment, there's probably not much to offer.

I could easily retire there, or keep vacationing to, but for now, I wouldn't consider it. The off-season is certainly the best time to visit though. Mid March when it's starting to get warmer and the bird sanctuaries and beaches are fairly deserted. Found tons of conch shells on the beaches of Ocracoke this past spring.
