Probably could. That would probably take even more effort though. I'm terrible with these modern systems. I don't even have 'em hooked up to the internet.

you could probably find a save and put it on a thumbdrive. But I don't know if you need it in a certain folder. So yeah, it'd probably take you more time. You should throw the consoles out and get a new gaming PC.

tongue was firmly in cheek. I've been bugging Bone to get a new PC for like two years now.

Picked up Mirror's Edge and finished it. Great game, beautiful visuals. I do find it odd though. Maybe not the best way to describe it, but I don't know a better way. The game is oddly deep for one where the majority of what you do is purely dictated by a single button, and for my first playthrough I found some sections quite difficult even on normal.
I can't put my finger on it. While not perfect, its on the high end of mixing depth and simplicity in gaming.

I didn't contribute to the Kickstarter campaign, but I'm actually enjoying Mighty No. 9.
I wonder how Inafune-san is doing right now.

That's is good that you are enjoying it. I don't know much about the situation but I heard that it's having some launch issues. Reviews aren't too hot either.travis_stywall wrote:I didn't contribute to the Kickstarter campaign, but I'm actually enjoying Mighty No. 9.

Is it the Mega Man game for the modern times?

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Kind of. It's like a big smorgasbord of everything from the Mega Man series from the original to Zero/ZX, even a dash of Azure Striker Gunvolt. The dash mechanic is at the forefront of the gameplay for getting a high score and ranking high, but apparently people don't care for it. I for one (since I've been playing Azure Striker and Mega Man Zero) love the scoring aspect because it forces you to get better.casterofdreams wrote:Is it the Mega Man game for the modern times?

Like I said in that Mighty No. 9 thread, the trailer and the gameplay therein reminded me of the mobile game Shadow Blade, which is awesome and you should get it.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts

Super Mario 64 is twenty years old as of today.
I first played the game around October 1996. It blew my mind yo. I remember just being amazed running around in front of Peach's castle alone. When you take the time to learn how complicated the programming was for Nintendo to endure, and how much of this was new game design territory, the fact that it turned out to be an immediate success is truly astounding. I haven't played though the entirety of Super Mario 64 since 1997. But I remember so much about it. This game was magic.
