I'll be announced in 40 mins...daylight savings time...so my time was an hour off. GMT doesn't change when our clocks change....

He nearly tripled my score (535K) - I put about 5 hours into it - but even if I put in 10, I don't think i'd hit more than 700-800K.

I put in 5-10 hrs. total. I think with more time, patience, and learning the boss patterns more thoroughly, I could break 1 mil.

Probably put about 12 hours into it but I used to play a lot before. I played mostly during downtime at work. Sshhhh!

Scoreboard is up.

I know I shouldn't feel good about 113th place of 193 total posted scores...but I sorta do.

Hash - #20 - Awesome job!

Fox - #60, Highest non-X-36 score on the entire board, also, a great job!

Also - when searching for the rom, V-Five might show up before V-V does, just FYI.

While Hashi shows RB how the shmup is done (again), I think the Touhou Is Harder team would love to have him aboard

Still, I was totally unaware of a 3rd game in the Strikers 1945 series, and it showed me and a few others I'm sure that if you put in the time you can get good fast. (better score too Noise)

While I'm not happy that Sky Shark (kinda late to be goofing up the Japanese name) wasn't picked, I'm glad that it's another one I have no experience with so I can get into this one with a fresh perspective and a little more effort. Plus, it seems to be the least "milkable" of the 3. Don't know what it is with the selections so far this year, are they looking for games with special scoring points or hidden ships to exploit?

This game got a Genesis port like Truxton did, so it's legit. May check out the other 2 games anyway, to get good at them too. Toaplan's always a good time.
