I don't even need another one, but the resale store has had one of those golden pro controllers that they packed in with Goldeneye. It just goes soooo well with mah golden Zelda wiimote, but I literally DON'T need it at all Xp

I agree though. Get yo'self some pro controllers.

The Otagon stops on the Wii and older generation controllers are a pain. Get a Mayflash Adapter and try the game with the smooth circle movement analog stick PS2 Dual Shock or even a Playstation Arcade Stick.

Huh, that concept seems familiar.

Now where have I seen that before?

I should probably go buy that game. Oh, wait, it's not out here yet, is it? I saw a review for it, though, over at USGamer.

Do ya'll have any games where you really get into the lore, but may not be the hugest fan of the games? My love hate relationship with Fallout is the foremost example in my mind, and I've also been somewhat interested in the Warhammer 40K lore, but never really looked into it.

I got into the 40k lore, which then got me into the Dawn of War games. I have absolutely no plans to get into the miniatures.

I've just realized lately that I'm really interested in reading about other worlds or timelines and such, and I've been kicked in high gear trying to find stuff lately. Another one where I like the lore is the Elder Scrolls, though even Bethesda can't seem to keep it straight. The Metro lore also needs a look, once I get around to playing the games.

Agreed. I don't have the kind of income or space that would be necessary for the miniatures, but I absolutely love the Warhammer 40k lore. There have been some wonderful games over the years too...as well as some not so great ones. But the dark and brutal universe is well-represented. 40k has one of my favorite representations of humanity in the far future. We're crazy. It's fantastic.

Actually, 40k is releasing a child focused line next Monday at hobby and whitebox stores. Thats right, 40k starter set at Truevalue/ToyRus/Michaels, etc:

$50 for the starter with a very limited set of expansions from the get go:

All priced at $30 or below. The important part here is that not only is it going to be at whitebox stores, it is priced at a scheme to fall in line with existing models also at hobby stores. It will also be simplified, but nothing actual 40k books cant fix. Of note, the figures fall more into the style of the mid 90s 40k figures:

Less fiddly bits, slightly less detail. More of a game.
