What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Would you say it's better or worse than the first anime? I don't like anime, but my friends convinced me to watch it and I thought it was ok, save for that stupid incomprehensible ending. I might start watching it someday, but not until I'm close to done with Star Trek and Kamen Rider.
Insert clever quote here.

I just bought an expensive game pretty much on a whim. The auction was ending in 10 minutes with only one other bidder and I went for it.

I can afford it, but still, I probably shouldn't have done that.

What did you end up buying per chance?

Smile: A Steel Battalion controller sans footpedals went on sale on eBay for $60. And I so happen to have a busted joystick on mine. Snapped that up fast.

For reference, full controllers have been going for about $150+

^Nice

Smile: Made infused liquors a week ago, and they are ready for abiding. Vodka with Cumbersome Cucumber, and Tequila with Jalapeno and Lime.

Looking forward to having a cucumber martini over the weekend.

Both were very well received and while the first Fullmetal Alchemist is still quite popular, Brotherhood is now the preferred version of many fans.

If you liked the first one, you'll like Brotherhood. Just keep in mind that Brotherhood more closely follows the source material, so once you pass a certain point the plots noticeably diverge. And Brotherhood's ending is quite final, so if that's your main concern you don't have that to worry about.

I'm really enjoying Brotherhood so far. I'm on episode 6 I think. Seems to be well written and well dubbed.

:o 2nd day of my internship at the prosecutors office and things are going great. It is unpaid, but I am gaining some valuable connections and it is quite an experience. Plus I haven't really been doing much work. I mainly just follow the prosecutors around, observe cases, or run around with other court house staff. In the past two days I have gone through the entire magistrates office, sat in on closed door juvenile trials, sat in on preliminary hearings, and ran around with victims services which was pretty interesting.

:D As an added bonus my favorite pawnshop is right down the street from the courthouse and I have a one hour lunch. So I plan on hitting it every other day.

 Also heard the great news that they are opening up a second pawnshop in the city and it is right along my way home. So I will have a second store to hit up as well. Just hoping they keep the same price structure for games. This will be the third tristate pawn in the area. The original which is about 30 miles away charges a $2 flat rate for last gen games and what was the closest one to me(before this new one popped up) charges $3 for last gen and $8 for current gen with some newer ones getting marked up and put behind the counter occasionally.

The guys at both stores either do not know their stuff(Very likely) or just don't give a crap. I am just amazed that they are getting some of the quality games that I have been seeing since at most they are offering $0.75-$1 per game.

Edit:
So many typos :P
