What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I saw G.I. Joe the other night. It was better than Transformers 2, I'll give it that much.

White Christmas - Not Bings best, but Bing and Danny Kaye make a great combo.

You know what, I did. I didn't really care for either of them, but this one got a bit interesting towards the end.reina wrote:So, did you like it more than the Da Vinci Code?jfe2 wrote: Watching Angels and Demons with my wife right now.

If it were up to me, the movie would have been scrapped and the Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles tv series would have gotten another season. Oh well, such is lifejfe2 wrote:Watched Terminator: Salvation last night. It was decent, but the forced attempt at a love story almost ruined it.

Steel and Lace. I DVR'd it off of Encore Action.
It's about a rape victim who commits suicide after the men who raped her are found not guilty. She is then brought back as a cyborg to get revenge.
It's your standard late-'80s/early-'90s sci-fi/action films that no one quite remembers.
And apparently it's not on DVD.

Oh!
And the first part of the two-part "Alice" on Syfy. Recorded it and plan on recording part 2 tonight.

I finally got around to seeing The Wrestler. God Damn what a great movie, made even better by one of the Boss' best songs this decade over the end credits.
A proper review will be forthcoming, but I'm now pissed I waited so long to see this...

completly agree^
I still think Wrestler is probably Arronofsky's (don't know how to spell) best. Such an amazing character piece and Rourke knocks it out of the park. Funny cause I always thought that making a cast interesting was Arronofsky's biggest weakness pre-wrestler. It's definitely a departure from his normal stuff (pi, requiem, the fountain.) but i think it's stronger than his previous works because he finally focuses more on story than presentation.
