I picked up both due to them being 1/3 off at 2 stores Wolfenstein Old Blood and Godzilla for PS4.

Both appear to be fantastic, but I've put more time so far into Godzilla. It just tempts me to go back seeing that you can unlock stuff, but they've also I think made unlocking a bit tricky due to the randomness of the kaiju that appear and if they leave a drop too upon winning a round. I've got maybe 20% of them unlocked and I did rank up to lv2 godzilla's breath counter so it's a little faster. It's a fun ride, don't really understand a lot of the negative comments other than a set of whiners don't like something because it's different. Sure it's a fighting game, but it's big monsters, not street fighter so the same rules don't apply.

Wolfenstein I only did the first chapter (of 8) and it was pretty solid, but it was also an escape from a jail so it did have quite a bit of being careful and slight stealth involved. It seems to have scripting (story) and play at the level of the original on PS4 so I'll think I'll enjoy it.

I can't remember the last time I bought a PS4 game that was new to me. I did get COD Ghosts real cheap months ago but it was just to replace the WiiU game since I ditched that console.

Brothers and Teslagrad releasing for PS4, (and maybe other systems?), on Tuesday per Amazon. 19.99 each, worth a look for a cheap physical game. I keep grabbing these as they may be rare down the line. Also they were digital only, and nice to see them trickling these out.

I'll definitely pick up Brothers if I bump into it in the wild. Great indie that I only ended up playing thanks to PS+.

Another great indie that PS+ introduced me to and which I wish would get a physical release just so I could sit it on my shelf is Thomas Was Alone. Never has a colored block given me so many feels  .

I wasn't aware there was a Bokusuka Wars 1.

Really old rudimentary strategy RPG on the Sharp X1. Later ported to Famicom.

Bro the game over is legendary!

Kind of?

Perhaps I'm just so surprised by it my judgement isn't really great but man I love it so far. I played it for about 5 hours straight. I will probably sit down after work tomorrow night and finish it.

Edit: Also looking forward to the 20th Anniversary headset and controller. Preordered them and should have em on the 9th.

It's a hard game to put down. There are few games I can say that about these days.
