Janeway seems reasonably untroubled that her future self has broken some of the federations core beliefs just to save a few people. I like the aspect where they beat the Borg, but could they not have done it with the help of some of the species they met in the delta quadrant rather than a time travelling dues ex machina? Also reminded me how much I hate B'Lanna and Neelix.

Ending is such garbage. Writers/producers had basically given up on the show at that point. It's just like: "okay, they're going home now, the end, fuck you if you wanted any sort of dénouement."

SNL

"Bobby" Moynihan has the looks of Belushi, the charm of Farley, and is finally becoming a star on the show. He's really grown into his roles and can be a sketch maker or breaker.

The show itself, as it has been for years, is hit or miss but I still try to watch every new episode.

He and Taran Killam are about the best they have right now. Although, I'm liking Kyle Mooney's absurd stuff; hopefully they let him do more of it.

Was John Goodman not in JT's HOF sketch?

The "Five-Timers Club?" I don't think he was.

That's terrible.

I had the hots for her back in the day. Forget about 7 of 9.

But yeah, that last episode was a bit of a disappointment. I actually wanted to see them make it home and interact with the rest of the Federation that had written them off as dead, for at least 1 episode.

My dad always had this cool idea that they'd show up just in the nick of time with some war-winning tactic or technology from the Delta Quandrant and be a key factor in the winning the Dominion War. I would have liked to see that, too.

Taran is so good.

Something about that Cecily Strong too. I like her.

As Luke said, seriously hit or miss nowadays, but I always try to catch it.

Oh, and Kate McKinnon too, she's great.

I used to watch that too. But now that they say dinos had feathers or somesuch I find it harder to believe 99.999% of material covering dinosaurs

Btw, is (are?) Tales from the Crypt worth revisiting?

Some of the Dinosaurs on my DVD box set are feathery. This was still groundbreaking stuff in 1999. The producers of Walking with Dinosaurs clearly spent a lot of research time getting up to date on the (then) latest science concerning dinosaurs.

Since you asked about Tales from the Crypt, yes revisit it for the campy fun. Don't take it too seriously like the X-Files (a contemporary FOX program). When you re-watch Tales you'll see that the producers were reveling in their fun, campy, schlock.
