here are some finds for sunday.
at the fleamarket I got a Saitek Cyborg v.3 rumble pad for $5.00. It seems to be an early ps3/pc controler. It has a ps2 plug and a usb. And it has a switchable analog/d-pad as well. has a few scuffs but otherwise it looks okay.
DVD wise I got for $9.00: Aeon Flux The Complete Animated Collection, Hero (jet li) and Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines. I'm gonna watch the aeon flux as soon as I get some free time, havent seen this in a long time.
Went back to gamestop to get some ps2 rpgs before they dissapear. I ended up getting shining force Neo PS2 for $6.29 and I wanted to get Grim Grimoire, but someone bought it already.
But the good thing is that whoever bought it before me didn't take the box! I have it now! I asked the guy if I could have it and he said yes. I told him that you guys were gonna throw it away anyways and I would like it.
So now I have a box and manual for Grim Grimoire.
nice.

I don't know if it's come up, but Amazon has been selling new copies of F-Zero SNES (Player's Choice) for cheap. I got one for $11—it looks like they're up to $14 now.

I got my copy in February of 2011. Got it for $7.95 plus $3.99 shipping, and then I applied whatever was left of a gift card I had towards it. So I ended up getting a brand new F-Zero for under 10 bucks.
Pro Tip - you can probably still get brand new copies of the Game Boy Advance F-Zero games on Amazon as well, for similar prices (I did that not long after I got the original F-Zero).

Seems like you can always find Amazon sellers selling disc-only games, so I would check there.flojocabron wrote: But the good thing is that whoever bought it before me didn't take the box! nice.
JJGames sometimes has some disc-only titles too.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
If you're really patient and willing to sift through a lot of arbitrary prices, Amazon can be a good source for new (old) games. It's amusing that they will sell you a bundle deal with this and Star Fox/Super Mario World for only $942.91!MyNameIsVince wrote:wclem wrote:I didnt know about this, I would have grabbed it up long ago.Breetai wrote: That's not anything new, though, is it?![]()

Good catch getting the case and manual, eventually you'll find the disc in a yellow envelope at another Gamestop. What is wrong with that buyer who was too lazy to hunt down the case?flojocabron wrote:at the fleamarket I got a Saitek Cyborg v.3 rumble pad for $5.00. It seems to be an early ps3/pc controler. Nice Find on the gamepad, Saitek makes the weirdest robotic looking controllers. Looks like that gamepad supports the PS3 as well. The switchable Analog/DPad sounds interesting, more detail on this?
I did find a link - http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/v3pad.htm
http://www.frys.com/product/6069448
As well as powerful rumble feedback, the V.3 Rumble Pad also features the revolutionary Cyborg™ module from our Cyborg range. At the press of a button, you can remove the revolutionary Cyborg™ module (Pat. Pending) from the pad and turn it through 180?, instantly changing the configuration of the left stick and d-pad. This gives you the flexibility to configure the pad for different games, depending on whether you prefer to use the analog stick or d-pad, or even cater for multiplayer sessions with friends who prefer different pad configurations.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Dropped by the old Goodwill today at lunch. They had three SNES games stacked so I could only see the top one. Baseball Simulator 1000....
I passed on it. This Goodwill usually has junk. Thought about walking away but asked to see the rest. The girl behind the counter says - the other ones look bad and have writing on them. I pressed and she pulled them out. I slid Baseball Simulator to the side and cringed when I saw the label and sharpie on the cart. Then I squinted - Ogre Battle!? $3.48!? Score. Checked out the last one - Chrono Trigger. $3.48.
"I'll take the bottom two." I say.
"You don't want the top one?" She seemed really confused.
"Nah - leave it for someone else."
Thought about arguing the price down but decided not to. Tested and they both booted up and save. Now I've gotta clean the carts and print new labels!

^ Nice. I would have gone for it too, even with torn/non-existent labels.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Hmm, based on how crappy the carts were treated I wonder if the guy swapped "Baseball Simulator 1000" chip out for his badly damaged Ninja Gaiden Trillogy.chupon wrote:Dropped by the old Goodwill today at lunch. Good find. Hopefully you can attempt to print out some nice replacements... or shove them in random sports game carts to confuse friends.

Just checked The Cover Project.
They have a perfect front label for Chrono Trigger but none for Ogre Battle...

^ Nice finds
Quite fortunate today.
Usually try to get on the computer shortly after arriving home to look for deals, first browse is always Gumtree.
Saw a local ad for 1 GBP, 3 GBA + 40 games, no titles were listed but looked promising
A quick phone call and a 10 minute trip resulted in...

All owned by young children so quite beat up with dings, scratches and game rage teeth marks, all working and complete apart from the glacier GBA missing it's battery cover. The GBP screen isn't cracked it's a reflection.
However it was the games that really interested me...

GB games
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Land 1 and 2
Super Mario Land x2
Dr Mario
Kirby's dream Land
Conker's Pocket Tales
Zelda Links Awakening x2
Roger Rabbit
Tiny Toons Babs Big Break
Jurassic Park
Qix
The Humans
Burai Fighter Deluxe
Soccer
Pokemon Red
Quest for Camelot
32 in 1
8 in 1
GBC games
Harry Potter, Philosopher's Stone
WWF Betrayal
GBA games, most of which have teeth marks on the top of the cart
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Mario Bros 3
Krazy Racers
Crash Bandicoot XS
Pac-Man Collection
TMNT 2 Battlenexus
Sim City 2000
Fifa Football
Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest
Winnie the Pooh, Rumbly Tumbly Adventure
Super Monkey Ball Jr
Tony Hawks Skater 2
Scooby-Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed
The Incredibles
Harry Potter, Philosopher's Stone x2
9 GB cases
1 Mad Katz GBA case
Cost £25
