I have wanted to see this movie for a long time and finally got to. It seems so slow, and after the warnings I had heard about it being a brutal experience, I spent the first half wondering when things were going to go to Hell. Yet they didn't, at least not moreso than the films I had been told it surpassed, not Apocalypse Now or Paths of Glory or Full Metal Jacket, and I noticed the film slowly wearing to an almost emotional numbness over time, lulling me into thinking that it wouldn't get worse, that I had seen all that it could throw at me. Beyond the deafness, the explosions, the real bullets and burned bodies, the mannequins and mockeries, I thought there would be nothing.

And then it got worse.

This movie crushes the soul.

Maybe it was a choice between doing a sequel to the Tekken movie, or a sequel to the King of Fighters movie. Probably the wiser decision if that were the case.

lol I guess if we are trying to stay positive about it, at least they did not also announce Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li 2- now with less canon!

I just watched Highlander for the first time. That was a pretty cool movie.

Actually that Douglas one is fitting, considering that Hank Pym has been an abusive spouse.
