Apparently that's what Carmack suggested id was tossing ideas around for back in like 2011. Probably nothing came of it though.

The TV mount would have dowels sticking out on the left and right side (sort of like how people use to carry heavy chests in the old days). Then there'd be a sort of gun rack that you would hang the TV on. Short dowels at, say, 45 degrees upward angle. The TV would never slip off. It would be cake to build. However, I don't think I would want to be lifting the TV all the time to change positions. Not that the TV is heavy, it would just be annoying. Something sliding would be nice, but the "gun rack" idea isn't a bad back up plan.

Not exactly what you want, but its frigging cool.

The issue I am running into is that most mounts like this have a center bar for stabilization.

I took some rough estimates and this whole plan might be a no-go. With the depth of the CRT, I don't think there's enough room to pull my HDTV down in front of it without it overhanging the TV stand.

Firaxis has censored the breasts of Liberty in Delacroix's Liberty leading the people in the American trailer. Let me try that again: They have censored the breasts of a XIX century painting in the trailer of a game in which you can drop nuclear bombs and kill hundreds of millions of people.

What's the best way to "keep up with" games on Steam? I want to know whenever a new JRPG or cutesy platformer drops.

I typically check out their list of all new releases every few days or so.

It has some nice filtering options to narrow the results down if you like, but I typically just drink from the whole fire hose. I wish there was a way to package that list up as an RSS feed, but I don't think it's possible.

You can get their official news feed of product releases delivered via RSS (http://store.steampowered.com/feeds/newreleases.xml), but that typically only includes popular/AAA games, and misses out on a lot of obscure, fun, and quirky stuff. It's also interspersed with news on Steam sales (which is both a pro and a con I suppose).

Ugh, I'd almost forgotten that list now includes new entries in their growing library of streaming movies. I don't know why but it bugs me that Steam is dipping their toes in these waters, when there are soooo many other better and more robust options out there. Stick with what you do well Steam, and leave the streaming movies to more established players! The next thing you know they'll introduce "subscription levels" to Steam in order to support their Streaming content and lord knows what else. Seems like a dicey proposition, one which could potentially undermine the quality of the service.

I know its a stupid question, but how do I learn to ignore trophies/achievements? I used to be able to just finish a game and move on happily, even on 360, but on PS3 I'm having trouble doing that.

Found a lost camera, had pictures of my trip to Japan in it.

Found this and I'm curious. Anybody happen to know if this game is a thing? I assume it was something that was being developed at the time I took it, just wondering if anyone knew anything.
