What was the last movie you've seen?

Um. Er. No.

I did kinda think that BRAVEHEART II would have started DREAMCAST II type chatter, but nope. BRAVEHEART is terrible, but it got me through my worst case of food poisoning ever, and under the influence of medicine I admit it made me weep.

But that was over a decade ago. The movie stinks and has aged worse than MATRIX III.

I watched it twice in theater when it came out, I was quite enamored with it at the time. I've not seen it in a long, long time.

I watched DESPICABLE ME 2 with the kids yesterday and that was quite good. It was very funny and I was surprised they didn't rely on bringing back the villain from 1, although I was hoping for at least a cameo.

I've not seen Braveheart in a decade or more, but it seemed a good movie back then. Strong acting, beautiful score, nice cinematography, fully realized world/sets/costumes, a compelling story, etc. Why would you say it has aged poorly?

The acting wasn't strong, the sets look thrown together and cgi'd, the action is just shots of people dying or losing limbs (worked in RAMBO, not in this), and is too over the top to be taken seriously and yet not funny enough to be taken as a mockery of war films.

If BRAVEHEART was the sponsored Beer of dramactions, it would be the Milwaukee's Best of the lot. You can spend a day with it, but at the end of the day it is nothing special*.

Further proof that I don't agree much with Luke's tastes. Calling Braveheart terrible is a travesty. Sure, it wasn't very historically accurate and dramatized a bunch of stuff, but as a movie, it was excellent. It is one of the very few movies that has gripped me emotionally and had me completely absorbed.

While there is the possibility, I think the first two Mad Max's will always be his best.

Luke's out of touch on this one. The film regularly makes "best ever" lists by established and esteemed film review critics/outlets/agencies/institutes. It has its flaws, but it was unparalleled in its day.

For sure. That was one helluva messed-up ending.

Woah woah woah, this implies that Matrix III was good to begin with.

But, the mecha looked like FFVI's Magitek armor! And DBZ fight in the end.

Haven't seen it in years though, haha.
