I have zero answers to all of your questions. The name of the movie hasn't been finalized (No, Batman vs. Superman isn't set in stone) and changes are being made left and right.
I suspect they know exactly what they are doing, but DC sure is doing a great job of making everyone think they have no clue what they are doing.

Wouldn't it be cool to See Michael Keaton or Adam West play Batman on Earth2? Tom Welling or Brandon Routh could play the Superman of Earth2 in lieu of the late Christopher Reeve (Rest in Peace). Lynda Carter could play Wonder Woman on Earth2.
I admit some of these folks are too old to play Super Heroes anymore, but it would make for fun cameos!

Context!
On Earth-2 the heroes were old, though. So it would be perfect!
Infinity Inc. was the next generation of young heroes on Earth-2.

Pacific Rim. So I dont see many movies in the theater anymore, and while I really wanted to see this, ticket prices pushed me away. But, despite it having issue with poorly blended in CG for the sake of 3d effects in a 2d version, it was still AWESOME. A big robot beating up on a big monster is usually a win in my book regardless of the rest of the film. Sure the plot had some holes, and the acting fell flat sometimes, but it had giant robots beating up giant monsters and flinging them through cities. It is close to replacing Godzilla Final War as my go to Kaiju movie.
It's big. It's dumb. It delivers everything you would expect.
It's an "I am what I am movie" and I appreciated it for what it was, as it succeeded as being what it meant to be. I say Hats Off for giving the people exactly what was promised.
Hours away from screening 47 RONIN. I'll go on the record as saying that besides Bill & Ted, Reeves is awful. But I appreciate awful when done right, so I'll have to wait and see.

After that, you should watch the "original" version from the 1940s. It is an excellent, epic (4+ hours!), samurai film.

Quote unquote original, heheh.
Anyway, yes, Reeves is a terrible actor. And I fully expect this new version of 47 Ronin to be awful. But I'm particularly partial to the 1994 version by Kon Ichikawa.
