For some reason people will pay big bucks for broken PS2s. Not really sure why.

Wow holy crap dude. I can't believe the prices people are paying for broken Fat PS2 systems on ebay! I was about to toss four of em. Some of these prices are higher than what I can get for a working one in my area. Am I missing something? Why the crazy broken PS2 market?

At a Salvation Army today:
Sony Wega KDF-46E2000 Rear Projection HDTV- $25

N64 Games- .99cents each (I grabbed all they had except NHL '99, since I have it already)
Mario 64
Perfect Dark (I didn't own this before. Yay!)
Bomberman 64
Goldeneye 007
Banjo-Kazooie
NHL Breakaway 98 (bought it because it's a hockey game I didn't have before)

I already owned Mario 64, Bomberman 64, Goldeneye and Banjo, but for .99cents... how could I not buy them?

The TV has a message saying the bulb needs replacing soon when I turn it on. It seems they run in the $25-40 range, so that's not so bad. There are also a couple of horizontal lines running across the screen. I wonder if buying a new bulb would fix them, or if it's burn in. CRTGamer, any thoughts on that?

Earthbound for $150 on eBay. I was considering turning it right around for a profit, but since I was saving up for earthbound anyway... :P

Not entirely sure. The seller probably figured that the dvd drive was still good, which can be equally as expensive than having to replace that, if the power issue is an easy solution.

put the TV in cable mode.

Look for the menu and change it to Cable.

Other channels open up and you can get the high 100's.

Fiddle with it from there.
