Whose hair becomes gray at age 40? Given that he lives on a farm, is into survivalism and all, you'd think he'd be really healthy. Not saying that gray hair=bad health, but graying at an early age really isn't a feature I associate with healthiness

Yeah..... Sometimes I look at the musician profiles on M-A and a lot of the major players of the second-wave black metal scene are only 9-10 years older than I am.

The four major Burzum albums were recorded when Varg was 18/19.

I guess you could argue that black metal was a "youth movement" much like hardcore punk in the United States - albeit with a very different set of ideologies motivating the genre's formation.

Mental stress can be a huge contributing factor to going gray as well. I have a friend that's in his early 30s and is almost completely gray. It's weird.

I think in rare cases it can be purely genetics as well, and not associated with any kind of health concern.

Grey hair at 40 isn't all that uncommon really. Genetics, stress, various health related things, etc. can lead to it happening earlier.

Because Varg is a pioneer in the black metal world along with Fenriz of Darkthrone. They both worked together and defined the signature black metal sound, that's way. And yes, he should be in prison for life for what he did but we all know the Scandinavian laws are somewhat loose. For christ's sake, the man also tried to escape from prison once! I'm surprised they didn't add additional years.

If he was like Breivik and slaughtered tons of innocent people, I'd agree. I don't see how killing a sicko who engaged in cannibalism and who had plans of torturing you to death in self defence should put you in prison for life. Also the man he killed was a gay communist who belonged to an ethnic minority, so it was totally acceptable anyways. That last part was WN logic/sarcasm, in case you didn't know.

Anyways how many rap artists are loose who've sold drugs and killed people? They make millions and millions of dollars of money for rapping about their past crimes, and they're worshipped as celebrities, star in movies and are all over the media. Double standard much?
