I refer to movies like this as "emotional slasher films". Once you realize their ridiculousness - and when you think of the writers as the knife-wielding maniacs - they are actually pretty funny.
And c'mon, Telly's voice is ridiculous. "I have no legs" guy is brilliant. To this day a few of my phone conversations go as follows:

Me: Hey Brandon.

Brandon: Sup?

Me: You know what I want to do to you?

Brandon: You want to f@*k me.

Me: Dazzz Riiight.

...

You watch the Panther's game on Sunday?

Brandon: Yeah. Too early, but pretty sure we can win at least one playoff game.

I'm glad someone agrees with me. Aftert thinking a bit about the film 21 Grams, I personally find anything directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu pretty hilarious. Here are the IMDB summaries for three of his four feature films:

Amores Perros - A horrific car accident connects three stories, each involving characters dealing with loss, regret, and life's harsh realities, all in the name of love.

21 Grams - A freak accident brings together a critically ill mathematician, a grieving mother, and a born-again ex-con.

Babel - Tragedy strikes a married couple on vacation in the Moroccan desert, touching off an interlocking story involving four different families.

Notice a trend? Each of these films have the pacing and employ the same techniques as slasher films. The key difference, however, is that instead of the characters getting knifed in the head by a madman, they get hit by cars, reject their heart transplants, get AIDS, get shot by a stranger, get cancer, etc. The result is still some pretty creative "kills" but many people consider these films "moving" and "powerful" because the director runs his film through a filter, does not present events chronogically, and has a ridiculous black-and-white "Steve Jobs" portrait on IMDB.

EDIT: They also don't like it when I sigh audibly, roll my eyes, and say things like, "His body is going to REJECT THE HEART!!!" during the film!

EDIT: Removed IMDB image link...

Protip to everyone: IMDB does not let you hotlink. Everyone that hotlinks IMDB movie posters and stuff, you're seeing the cached version because you viewed it on the site. The rest of us are seeing nothing.

Watched the Disney animated movie Frozen. It's animated very similarly to Tangled and some of the characters are a little bit of a copy/paste from Tangled. I liked it and so did the offspring, this was her first big-screen movie and she's been pretending to freeze things with her ring ever since. Quite sweet. It's certainly not as strong as Tangled, the music is inferior to it and the characters aren't as memorable. Anyway I give it a thumbs up if you're into this kind of movie.

Holy crap is the Internet masses upset that we might have a skinny Wonder Woman.

Remember when people flipped out when photos of a non-purple clad Hawkeye were leaked? Me neither.

BEN AFFLECK! THAT MODEL FROM ISRAEL! HOLLYWOOD IS KILLING COMIC BOOKS!

Shut up. Marvel's THE AVENGER'S was great as was THE DARK KNIGHT, but unfortunately the majority of comic book movies stink. Get used to it and wait until the movie, or at least a trailer comes out before you hate it.

I for one am super interested on how this clusterfudge of a cast will work together. Seeing Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in the screen together will do jack squat for me. I want a decent story or a complete disaster of a movie to keep me interested.

Complaints thus far:

"Gal is a B-Cup at best"

"If she grows twelve inches and gains fifty pounds, great choice"

"WW is from the Amazon, not Balliwood".

All complaints are directed at Gal's frame. It's funny, but it isn't as I've had it up to here with all the "She's too skinny" talk, all across the board.

Seems like Keira in Pirates of the Caribbean was a lot bustier in that movie than she is in real life, maybe they can do the same for Gadot, if they even care.
