That way you'd have it! Eh, the third party stuff is just as good too.

I finally won a copy of Power Stone 2 on eBay. At $67 it is the only game in my collection that i've spent more than original MSRP on. I can only imagine it will be worth it though. With that out of the way i'm left with with Giga Wing 2, the Samba De Amigo set and a BBA to drain my money.

Other than testing new games coming in from Noise and Blu, i've been playing a lot of 3rd Strike. Never realized how cool the soundtrack to that game was until recently.

The official VGA box would be cool to have. But if you're looking for functionality - you can do better with a third party one. I've got the performance VGA box and it's great. The VGA passthrough is nice if you're running it on the same monitor as your PC.

If it makes you feel better, Spoony, that $67 now was only $48.19 in 2000 when the game came out. So, to be technically correct (the best kind of correct), you paid almost $2 below MSRP. :D

Hang in there Spoony! I managed to snag two sets of maracas two years ago on eBay for $60 shipped. That was a glorious day for me. Only one of the sets works perfectly, but for the enjoyment of it all, it works well enough! Let me know when you get that BBA and I'll take you on a stroll with PSO. I'm sure Noise would fire it up for old time's sake.

I really don't know much about the maracas. Did they come bundled with the game? I've been on the lookout for a set for quite a while now. From what i've seen i'm expecting to drop around $125 for a boxed set. I'm just assuming it's going to be the last piece I get.

I'd love to get some PSO going. I had a few solid weeks into the Gamecube version with my roommate, but when he stopped playing it started getting a little stale. Dreamcast online will be a totally new thing for me. I'm pretty excited (for the hypothetical day that I get a BBA).

I can live with this. It will also help me feel better about future AES purchases.

Agh, my love for rhythm games has made me want to pursue the set many times as well. There are some third party maraca sets, though I hear that they are inferior to the first party pair included in the box set. The third party controllers can be acquired for pretty cheap, but the way I see it is that you might as well go the whole nine yards and acquire the superior first party set, not to mention the sweet box it all comes in. I'm still just waiting for one to fall into my lap for the right price. I think you can get away with one for $80 or so shipped from auction as long as you avoid import shipping from a JP set.

It's not a bad price for them, though nothing in there is exceptionally valuable. Not the greatest selection of games, but definitely a few you can have fun with. Jet Grind Radio, Death Crimson OX, MDK 2, and the collections are all pretty solid titles.

I gave in,

I really wanted to play Resident Evil 3 on the Dreamcast, but I found it for around $20 (including shipping) in Acceptable condition, while it was on sale on PSN for $1.5 . With the savings I will buy Fallout for ps3 .

A lot of the Dreamcast games are available else where for a cheaper price unfortunately.

A friend of mine was dumping some stuff and I snagged a nice Samsung 900DF 19" CRT from him. So I hooked up a DC in my bedroom and started playing some Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Play a round of arcade mode, get an okay score - but then I realize that i'm in 19th place. So I wait for the high score screen to pop up and see a totally bonkers score with the initials "MAS" on it.

Then I realized that everything was unlocked, I wasn't using my normal memory card and I was playing arcade mode for no reason.

Thanks again Mas! You saved me plenty of headaches in having to unlock everyone!
