Re: Metal Gear Solid V
Konami's actions relating to this game and Kojima's departure from the company and every headline since has made me feel like a company or at least the people in charge of it actually hate their fans more than anything any other company has ever done to consumers

Did you guys think the drama was over?

WTF.The Nikkei article also states that Konami has allegedly told large game companies to be careful about hiring former Konami employees and Japanese TV stations to disregard them. What’s more, it’s even said that ex-employees are not supposed to refer to themselves as “Formerly of Konami” in their new work when publicly discussing their career history.

Man, that's some bull right there. Between that and the constant questioning around nuclear weapons in multiplayer and how they may (although it seems not to me, but oddly vague tweets give some people hope) be connected to chapter 3, I'm miffed at Konami.
Though, I must say I'm really impressed with TPP as I play through it.

I and my buddy in 2014 had a similar idea for an MG game. I think the idea could work but like Capcom during the whole Mega Man saga. The timing of this is bad after all the BS they pulled and firing Kojima. I don't know how well developed this game is but for the sake of it, let's say it's fairly decent, well then it should have released just before or just after MGSV before the drama and I believe fans would be far more accepting.

I think Konami is very innovative with their monetization angle. Adding garish kabuki makeup will make stealth so much easier. Crawling around with shiny metal scarves is in no way disingenuous to tactical espionage action. It is very unique of Konami to add zombies as a central game mechanic. The weapons being gold plated deeply appeals to my empty consumerist soul. The fact the box says "The Orange" sold me on this whole pre-order deal.

Come on. This isn't the first time that there's silly or impratical costumes on MGS game. I'm sure that tuxedo's for instance don't give the best flexibility.

There is an Ape Escape mask and outfit in MGS3. The monkeys make an appearance as well.
