Better online services? Sounds interesting. I just hope that they will greatly increase the amount of stuff each level can have. The new characters don't really count for much for me, since I'm more interested in the user created content.darsparx wrote:Well they did announce new characters with new abilities from what I heard so far and they have moved on to psn and youtube....man, I'm way too in to sony this year(really ought to check the nintendo side of it when it comes on later today but I might be asleep)

Funny you should mention that because they mentioned that user created maps from lbp2 would carry over to 3
(with updated graphics of course)

No I meant I'm more interested in what new tools they will give creators. And they should really speed up the way somethings are done. Mouse+keyboard support along with a zoomed out view is a must.darsparx wrote:Funny you should mention that because they mentioned that user created maps from lbp2 would carry over to 3

I'm looking for a price drop on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
A console with a hard drive and a free game all for a cool $199. No sale price. But when they do go on sale it'll be even better!
Good to buy a backup console now rather than hunt for used ones with spotty or unknown history 5 years from now.
Everything else like new games and such? Meh. The wow factor is gone nothing really does it for me anymore.

Though still hard to believe it's been a year....yet I've been procrastinating playing any of the new games i have gotten to beat long standing games on my backlog(which I still haven't done to any extent sadly

A dream game is exactly what I used to to describe it. Although it does not sell the system for me, as it will be released on PC and that will most likely be a more viable option for me, I find that game to really provide the wow factor I was looking for.....that and Grim Fandango.J T wrote:No Man's Sky continues to look like the stuff of dreams with the new E3 demo.
This is definitely in my "most highly anticipated new games" category.

How many game announcements relied on CG this year? They should hold E3 once every two years, since development takes so long nowadays.

Yeah there were quit a few CG trailers and some that were either pre-rendered or pre-recorded and pawned off as live gameplay footage. Crono and I argued over this a lot, and it is a huge area of contention, but I definitely feel that what you say in games like, The Division are not at that point yet, much like how Watch Dogs was. Plus, who hires professional voice actors to roleplay the events while at an undisclosed on-line location?Pulsar_t wrote:How many game announcements relied on CG this year? Still, there was a lot of games where you saw actual gameplay and will have access to it on the floor. I do not think it was an overly CG experience, more like CG was there. Like how Far Cry 4 starts off with the cutscene intro for Ubisoft's presser and goes into actual gameplay footage on Sony's.

Devil May Cry 5: Scalebound looks pretty awesome.
