As we say in Brazil, "the ball punishes."

I heard last night's match was close. Wish you luck in the rest of the tournament Australia.
(I always like being with the underdog :P).

Anyway day 3 of the tournament so finally our turn......yaaayyyyy

um....since our team sucks, we might as well look for some fun in the greek fans section

Or even better

.........................................

so anyone ever watched Colombia play? Are they any good? They rank above us in the FIFA rankings, but from what I saw of Brazil and Spain the FIFA rankings mean squat.

EDIT

oh dear lord google image search also returned this result

You have a great back line in Greece. You have that going for you.

oh man our defense is top notch, but that also creates our biggest weakness. We get pushed back into our side of the court, and even though the opposing team might find it difficult to score, if they keep pressuring they are bound to score.

If we had a better middle line (the only really good player we have there is Caragounis who is....37) so we could move the ball around the midfield better, we could use our strong defense and wait for an opportunity to score a goal.

Anyway that's the typical Greece, maybe the coach has changed the gameplan, I honestly have no idea. I never watch the qualifying stage since it's usually boring.

What are the other teams that are playing today?

EDIT

Holly shit England is playing against Italy but the game starts here at 1AM

Italy vs. England
Costa Rica vs. Uruguay
Japan vs. Cote D'Ivoire

I'm excited for Japan vs. Cote D'Ivoire. Japan plays very disciplined and Cote D'Ivoire has Wilifried Bony and Yaya Toure.

Uruguay over Costa Rica.
Italy vs. England - toss up! I'm in it for the drama and will be rooting for England, I'm not a fan of Italy.
