Same, I have a nice chunk put away for a down payment on a house in the next year or two, but I still can't resist buying a rare game once in a while. For example, I picked up Cross-Edge X on PS3 today for 25 because it's destined for rarity and I really dig NISA RPGs. That being said, I don't indulge nearly as often anymore either, so I don't feel too guilty.

I'm not even close to that. My wife was out of work for over a year. Thats why i sold a lot last year and this year. Food for family comes first. Everything we saved was gone. So now we have to save again so thats why I have to really budget this time and is figured 30.00 a month was fine for me.

I can see Wii U games becoming collector's items one day with the terrible sales of the system and games. Rockstar recently announced that Grand Theft Auto has sold 33 million copies. In contrast the lifetime sales of Wii U software sits at 32.28 million. Think about for a minute. One game in a matter of months, has sold more copies than the entire Wii U library for a year and a half.

I still say the Wii U is the next Dreamcast.

I still say the Wii U is the next Dreamcast.

That's an overstatement as the Dreamcast sold over 4 million systems in the US alone in it's first 4 months. The Wii U had not sold 4 million worldwide in nearly a year on the market. If anything, Wii U is experiencing the opposite of the Dreamcast as during the 18 month lifespan the console sold really well but the software languished and did quite poorly.

Can you imagine the estate sales 40 years from now?

That is what may happen. Then the market will be flooded and prices will drop. But you never know.

Bonesnapdeez's "h-games" collection would be an interesting auction to watch.
