Saturday scores. I like Kim, Roger, not so much.
His Shikigami sucks but his tension shot seems to be very powerful.
Is there a difference between characters as far as shot power?

You're using his type 1 shikigami, right? Charge it up, and aim it at the enemies you want removed from existence, and presto, they're gone. The only thing I find difficult about Roger is his extreme speed.

You're using his type 1 shikigami, right? Charge it up, and aim it at the enemies you want removed from existence, and presto, they're gone. The only thing I find difficult about Roger is his extreme speed.

I use type 2 because with type 1 those bomb ball thingies never go where I want them to.

I use type 2 because with type 1 those bomb ball thingies never go where I want them to.

Okay, yeah, type 2 is completely useless. Type 1 you just have to aim where you want the swath of balls to go. It's a little like the Giga Wing with reverse controls: point the lever in the direction you want them to go before releasing the hold shot.

I'm still surviving a lot better with Kim than Ko, the boss fights are just way easier with Kim and the extra points from that almost make up for having less x8 items on the stages.

same here. Kim is great for survival. I'm still not good at using Ko.

I had another 1/2 a dozen runs last night and stage 3-1 each time. Just eating me up. I've never enjoyed "continuing" or "save-stating", but I might have to for this stage, very frustrated right now.
