if it helps, my wife loves Ginger Snaps as well. It's really this amazingly well written film that ... y'know what? I just wrote a ton about this movie and deleted it cuz I'd rather you see it AND then we discuss it. But seriously. I love this movie so much.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I have been meaning to watch Ginger Snaps...but my wife thinks that the title is a ridiculous pun, and she has resisted my efforts to date. On your recommendation, I will have to work harder to get that movie in our queue.

I haven't seen Happy Birthday to me yet, but I do have Prom Night. I'll have to check it out along with some of the other movies on that list.noiseredux wrote:have you (and Michi) seen Happy Birthday To Me? I tend to lump that in with April Fool's Day and My Bloody Valentine. I guess because they're all Canadian slashers? It's something not often brought up, but there was this whole little awesome Canadian slasher scene in the 80's.prfsnl_gmr wrote:@Michi: April Fool's Day is great fun. Though the ending...yay!
My wife and I both thought that the movie - while not particularly scary - was a lot of fun.
I have seen Ginger Snaps though! That was fun. I also saw one of the sequels, which was... much less than I expected.

not terrible. But not memorable. The 2nd is a continuation of the first with Emily Perkins dealing with ... what happened in the first (no spoilers). And the 3rd is really really weird and takes place like in ye olden dayes.

Black Sheep (2006)

the following pics speak for themselves........

love the killer sheep fetus!!!

definately more comedy than horror, the last 3rd of this movie is insane.

^I had high hopes for this in a Dead-Alive sort of way. I actually found myself pretty bored with it, though.
anyway, here's a few pics of our Halloween decorations this year:
^we've got some new ones I haven't taken pics of yet.
...off to watch the season premier of Jersey Shore. OH THE HORROR!

Speaking of which, are there any horror baseball games?
well dam, the new wild card format really fucked the braves this year. chipper's last memory will be trash all over the field, although his error led to a big inning and he had chances with runners in scoring position with 2 outs. the infield fly rule in the 8th was bs though. oh well, maybe without chipper handcuffing the braves we'll be able to get some decent free agents next year.

Not bad, but too long for what it had to tell...
I think a 45 min short story would've been better...
