And Monk was really easier? Hmm, I was thinking with all those damn constant fire attacks and stuff that melee characters would have a tougher time in the final act, but maybe not (beat it with Demon Hunter myself. But I do think the range on some bosses made them arguably hilariously easy).
For some reason I feel like Diablo II had the least story, but I may be wrong.

Monk is much easier after you get the passive skill that gives you health back every time you use a special attack. Range is nice, except you have to run around for certain bosses. With the monk I just stand right in front of them and recover health constantly, and I teleport right to the enemy with my primary attack so they never get away from me.

The person I played act 3 with made things real easy. I used my skill that brings all the enemies to me and they had an acid spilling skill that did ridiculous damage to a small area. Can't say whether these skills will be as effective on higher difficulties, but I will soon find out.

Just cleared normal with a monk. Was much easier to stay alive than with the demon hunter for normal. Every time I use a special skill I get life back? Uh, yea. Only used a few potions once I got these abilities.

Melee classes have a built in 30% damage reduction. Each source of damage reduction is multiplicative, but armor can reduce everything.

As for the D2 story, it was about as involved as D3's story. These games are not played for the story, though there is some interesting stuff going on if you care to look into it.

Yeah, some of it was good, but it was just characters like Leah who I thought were hilariously out of place or something. But again, obviously not the point heh.

Also on a funny note, it took me 30 levels (finishing the game pretty much) to realize Strength = Defense. I guess I figured Vitality went into that and Health.

Guess I can definitely admit when enemies DID get to me towards the end there, my Demon Hunter did seem pretty fragile. I'm usually a melee player though in games like this but I'm surprised by how much I enjoy this class and the bit of what I played of the Wizard. All the classes seem pretty awesome though in their own ways. I'm just not sure about Witch Doctor, looks so damn weird. haha

Damn they need to do something about joining other games and then breaking your game in the process (unless I'm missing something?). I joined up with some people with my level 10 Wizard, but they were too high leveled so it wasn't going right. But then I couldn't figure out where I left off... but I had Act II unlocked so I jumped into that, but the exp I was getting just wasn't right. But then I went back into the farthest part of Act I that I could get back into, and it was also just way too easy and felt like I shouldn't be at that point.

UGH!

Act 1 is ridiculously easy compared to act 2.

Really? Act II isn't exactly challenging either. At least on normal.

Working on getting a witch doctor through normal right now.

Act II brings in some annoying mobs though. Damn I hate those exploding bugs, and any kind of fire attack!

I wonder what would be a good class to try Hardcore out on.

Honestly, my $50 was justified by the jars of spiders alone.

Witch Doctor? Dude, I think they're kind of annoying to play with (co-op) since they're just throwing all this random crap cluttering the screen.

... guess that sums up half the classes later on though, heh.

I'm surprised there's so many Barbarian's on my friends list.
