Enjoy. i would not say MORE reliable. They are both reliable in my experience.Opa Opa wrote:I went with play-asia. I'd rather pay a little extra and order with a site that I know is a little more reliable.
Oh and a WTF-Moment. Fedex/UPS shipping (1-4 days) was cheaper than SAL (up to 21 days).

Amazon Japan is great for just about everything. Amazon Japan themselves aren't allowed to distribute media outside of the country, but private sellers can. Not many opt to, but when you can find ones that do, you're able to dodge inflated eBay and/or other import prices and get some killer deals, assuming the seller isn't out to gouge you on shipping.

If I choose the cheap Air shipping ($6) from PlayAsia, how long is that gonna take to get here?

Last time I purchased a game via Airmail from Japan, a Sega Saturn game, it took about 2.5 weeks. It's a good choice if you're patient.noiseredux wrote:Opa Opa wrote:I went with play-asia. I'd rather pay a little extra and order with a site that I know is a little more reliable.

I want to get the limited edition for the DC packaging in the worst way because I'm such a huge Sega fan, but I think I'm gonna have to get the regular edition myself.

Yeah, half of the Special Edition is rendered worthless unless you have JP region capable DVD player. Standard Edition it is for me, too.
