The very fact that you don't know that you said that says volumes about you having judged a system without having known much about it.

See? I can dismiss people with image macros too.

Yeah, but that is an exception! There really honestly is not much of a 2D selection on the 64.
Nothing against Zelda: OoT. That really is a personal preference based on my lack of experience with it. I say I prefer Zelda III, but I really haven't spend enough time with OoT to say much about it.
For 2D games the N64 is... well... has allmost nothing i can just think on paper mario (and i think that is just good nothing to blow my mind). BUT for the platforming games... that's the reason why i love the N64... but the super nintendo beat any console any time

Paper Mario isn't a 2D game by any means.

Saturn had a lot of cool quirky niche titles and excellent arcade ports.
Ps1 had RPGs out the ass.
I'm happy to own all 3.
...and this is why I love my Saturn and N64

I am not really a fan of RPGs so the PS1 does nothing to me.

hahaha are you serious? It's not grammar. He's using an expression completely wrong. It's kind of like what you were saying about people who say "I ain't go no money" when they mean "I have no money" but they're actually saying the opposite. Same thing. He's trying to say the N64 has no shmups, but "dime a dozen" means plentiful.
What the hell did you think I was trying to say? I wasnt saying they're "dime a dozen" on N64 but on other platforms. The genres been done to death since the 70's. GAWD

OK, so instead of using "dime a dozen" incorrectly, you accidentally made that comment about the N64 instead of other platforms. Don't get so upset over someone trying to correct you when you make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes.

The smaller PSone was pretty reliable in my experience. I rarely have any need to hook it up though.
I'm not saying the hardware is bad, So much as saying its been built in to the ps2 and 3 that i find owning the original console worthless...in my opinion.
I'm not the biggest fan of the n64 either but I can't say there aren't good reasons to own one. Turok 2 was awesome and Major's mask is one of my favorite games. It had its strengths and still does. The only system I won't buy games for is the R-Zone.

It's a 3D game. The environments are 3D and you can walk forward and backwards in the Z axis.
The N64 is a bit lacking in games with 2D graphics, but there's a few games with 2D gameplay. Mischief Makers and Goemons Great Adventure are good examples. There's also Bangai O, if you can import.

I think you are failing to see how immature his comment was.
When I asked the question I expected evidence, not an assumption by a guy who is upset that someone doesn't like his favourite system. Hey I really like the gamecube, I don't go off on one at people who didn't like the system "Don't like the controller? YOU ARE PLAYING IT WRONG!", "You claim you have seen all the console has to offer yet you don't import or use the gameboy player? YOU HAVE ONLY PLAYED HALF THE LIBARY!"
No I don't agree with that at all, I don't know about you lot but over the last year I'e become pretty damn picky about what I play, this time last year I had over 600 games, now I have less than 50 + emulators, I don't bother with something if I feel that it is same old or something I have seen before and sadly when a console is made around 1 or 2 genres that is bound to happen. I like shoot'em ups as much as any person but I only play certain ones, same goes for any genre, why waste my time on second best?
But anyway that is just me. Mock me all you want for my responce but it was the correct responce to the kind of arrogance that can only be expected of an immature net user who trys to back up his arguments with insults. You were fine to question my reasons for not liking the PC Engine but don't treat me like an idiot for not liking the things you do like.
