Fantastic episode. Learned it, loved it.
I'm surprised to see you have a laseractive, and all of the pacs too. Crazy. Did you get them new back in the day or scavenge them up over the years?

Didn't see that one coming. Cool to see one in action and that's interesting that the output is nice and clean. Good thing the MLD games weren't stuck in a rut.

The last time I saw a LaserActive was on Gamester81 channel on YT. That dude collects nearly every obscure console you can think of.

Too bad he's not very well spoken. I've watched a few of his videos and he tends to have a lot of misinformation and he stutters/breaks up a lot. It makes his videos pretty muchExedExes wrote:The last time I saw a LaserActive was on Gamester81 channel on YT. That dude collects nearly every obscure console you can think of.
unwatchable.
Anyways, fantastic episode. Though I am very curious how much either you or Dave payed for it Joe. Especially considering the fact that both the US and Japanese expansions are sitting there in the video.
Older. Not wiser.

I want to add that I find your video quality to be outstanding! Specifically I am referring to the deep blacks and nice color saturation... plus the lens focus is all very pleasing and professional. All those close up shots of the laserdiscs and console add-ons, were like Gamer Pr0n.
Re: Game Sack
OK I am here with the answer! Maybe I'll put it in small text just to be an ass:
So far I have paid $0 for it. It was on loan from a very gracious viewer. How much did he pay for it? I have no idea but the insurance for the shipping had some crazy values applied to each item.
And thanks for the compliments! I did a lot of work shooting this episode, more so than others since most other episodes are usually about the games, but I had to feature the system here as well. I'm glad you liked the look of it.

Re: Game Sack
It is unfortunate especially with his earlier videos, because who else do you see do reviews on Mattel Aquarius or FM Towns Marty? I think he's gotten a lot better on recent vids.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Too bad he's not very well spoken.
