Re: E3 2011
The only real things 3DS seems to have an advantage is being more trusted company, 3D and an earlier release. PSV is shaping up to be pretty good looking.

Agreed. I think it looks too much like the PSP and they'll have the same trouble Nintendo's having differentiating the 3DS from the DS to the more casual consumer (if not a harder time because of the lack of a really distinct feature). Maybe it's just a testament to the PSP, but the graphics didn't look like that significant a jump to me. I didn't see any games that really stood out to me either.

It has cards like a DS
the price point is awesome!
I don't want it to play cards, I want it to play the 60+ UMD's I already own.
Are you going to get rid of your PSP? BC is so overrated, especially amongst retro gamers who retain old hardware!

That depends on which region you're talking about and which one will get Monster Hunter first.

Ono!!
Cole looks like he might be broken though...
Just because his moves look flashy doesn't mean they'll actually be good.

Agreed.
It's far too early to tell. Personally, this E3 presentation has me really interested in the Vita. Far more than I was ever interested in the 3DS. However - it doesn't have me $249 interested.
If I had to choose, I'd go with the Vita - but Nintendo could blow us away with something on the 3DS when they present, we never know. All Nintendo has to do is announce a new entry in the Jump Super Stars series and I'll jump on their bandwagon. Sony has already almost sold me just on the PS3-to-PSP connectivity and the ModNation Racers footage - I'm just going to wait for a price-drop/deal/preowned unit/etc.

Supposedly the 3DS is getting a software update tonight. Nifty timing if that's true.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Are pre-orders up yet?
Yeah... that's an insanely low price for that handheld. I think Immona' have to get one.

I didn't post it, just saw someone else who did. My username is the same as it is here, NevérGoBak, how about you?
EDIt: My most recent post is one from the bottom of the E3 thread in Chat, just above "Unending Rainbow"
