I had to do that for my second game also, but now I'm set with LBP, inFAMOUS, Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty and Dead Nation. I already had Wipeout HD and Super Stardust. Just waiting for the Japanese PSN now, and patience to log onto the PSN with my PSP.lwcook wrote:You're still good.lisalover1 wrote:Well, I just failed hard. I went to get my free game's on my PS3, and somehow managed to get past the buggy network to get the vouchers for downloading the games. But, I thought I could download the vouchers individually and then download the games later. But, afterward, I realized that you could only download the games immediately after downloading the voucher. So, no free games for me.Is there any other way to get the games?
Do this:
XMB>PSN>account management>transaction management>services list>SCEA Promotions
PSN is back!

Re: PSN is back!
I have so far nabbed:
Wipeout HD (for Fury, I had the base game)
Dead Nation
Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
Little Big Planet (own the disc as well)
Little Big Planet PSP
Modnation Racers PSP
What I should be able to get:
Infamous (own on disc too)
Stardust (Own but if I can add to another account, why not eh?)
LocoRoco Cocoreccho! (In Japanese)
Echochrome (In Japanese)
Trashbox
Hustle King
Killzone Liberation
Pursuit Force
What I may or may not be able to get:
What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord!? (In Japanese)
Patapon 2 (In Japanese)
Everybody’s Stress Buster
LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival
Reason Im not sure on those games is that it appears I can not get PSP games through my PS3 on the UK store, so the Hong Kong and Japan stores may work similarly in that you need a PSP to get the games linked to your account.

Re: PSN is back!
Question folks. Will I be able to get the psp games, since my psp is hacked?
If I can't, I can't, I'm not complaining. Merely curious.

Re: PSN is back!
I think it depends, you cant go on the store on a PSP unless you are using the most up to date OFW, but im hoping you dont need to update it to play the game after transferring them from my PS3. Is Pursuit Force and Modnation Racers worth getting rid of my GBA emulator? Not sure...CFFJR wrote:Question folks. Will I be able to get the psp games, since my psp is hacked?

Download them on the PS3 then use a USB cable and put them on your PSP?CFFJR wrote:Question folks. Will I be able to get the psp games, since my psp is hacked?

Older. Not wiser.
Re: PSN is back!
I think you need to be on the newest Sony firmware to get on the PSN Store, unless one of the hacks lets you on without the newest Sony firmware.CFFJR wrote:Question folks. Will I be able to get the psp games, since my psp is hacked?

Also, is it just me, or is this "download as many free games as we can from all of our sock PSN accounts" a bit much? I mean, I actually own three PS3 systems and feel no qualms about downloading the "Welcome Back" games from the JPN and CAN stores (since those are where my PS3s are from... well, one is US, but whatever), but I actually feel a bit guilty about downloading the freebies from the EU store. Maybe it's just me? Probably just me.

Just goes to show how little I use my Sony systems.
Thanks Ryan.

Re: PSN is back!
It turns out that the background downloading does work. The interface is a bit confusing as it doesn't give you an indication that it's downloading. You need to go to Network | Download Management (I think that's the name but I'm not sure since my TV is off). There you see all of your background downloads. I had a bunch of duplicates that I had to clear out.
It seems that 6:15 AM Eastern US time is a good one. I got fewer errors than last night. Probably because most kids are still sleeping at this time.
So I got all of my stuff. I'm going to wait a week or two before activating PSN+.
