GB/GBC/GBA = SNES/Super Game Boy or Super Game Boy 2, NGC/Game Boy Player, etc.
NGPC = Neo Geo/Super Neo Geo Pocket (Black and white only)
DS = Composite out through an adapter
Also, did the first Xbox have the ability to use Component at 720p?

Also, Super Game Boy 1/2, Game Boy Player, are cheating! I don't qualify them as systems in their own right, all they are, are peripherals. They may contain the guts of a GB/C/A, but, they don't have their own AV output, so that doesn't count.

What about those newer GBA-to-SNES adapters that have their own AV output?

I'd need a link, but I'm assuming this is some sort of shitty SoaC thing, in which case it's automatically disqualified.

I've actually got a consolized GBA headed my way from a guy on Atariage that has Composite and S-Video on it... it's really more of a collection piece than anything, but just sayin.
Also, you said you're doing a massive update soon... just a thought, but I have NO idea how you've got the systems organized right now. Consider maybe doing alphabetical or grouped by manufacturer? I mean right now I just ctrl-f for the system I want, but it just seems disorganized...

They're supposed to be organized by when they were released, but it's kinda patchwork. That's actually the huge update, gonna split them into generations and sort them by release date properly.

Did he just use a TV de Advance?

Unlicensed, imperfect (at least in terms of compatibility) clone that can only do Composite. Has a link port though. Don't know whether it can play GB/GBC games though.
Also, if I did want to, could I use a similar format to yours for a topic on backwards compatibility?
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.

Sure thing! Not that I could stop you anyway, but thanks for asking! If you want, we can cross-promote our guides.
And yeah, no way does that adapter fit my rules as a console, "compatible with most GBA games" definitely a cheap SoaC piece of crap.

No, the original thread promoting it had a few people gasping (it was expensive, but one-off hacks always are) and going "Why don't you just use one of these <links TV de Advance> or a GB Player?", and he said that the video from the TV de Advance is terrible (and composite only I believe?), so sounds like he pulled off some sort of custom circuit. I dunno, I should have it tomorrow or Thursday, so I haven't been able to open it up. I'm sure I'll post pictures somewhere once I get it.
