Strike another one off the list! Breath of Death VII was a fun RPG that I played on the 360 via XNA. It plays a lot like Dragon Quest, and has a great sense of humor. It didn't take long to finish, maybe ten hours at the most, but it was very entertaining while it lasted. The NES inspired graphics created the perfect atmosphere for the game.
Are you working on Cthulhu Saves the World?
Also, I noticed you had Wukong Warriors, Beggar Prince and Pier Solar on your list... dude, jealous! BP is sold out so I'm pissed about that.
As for me, I'm two instruments away from Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening DX (emulated). Also playing the Link to the Past hack Parallel Worlds, though I used save states so there's an eventual asterisk.
1. Karateka – Atari 7800
2. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest – SNES
3. Alien Crush – TG16
4. Altered Beast – GEN
5. Harmful Park – PS1
6. Mario Galaxy – Wii
7. Silent Hill Shattered Memories - Wii *NEW*
Shattered Memories comes highly recommend from me. As a long time Silent Hill fan I can respect it for doing something different and new for the franchise. Granted it's nowhere near as scary as the games from Team Silent were, but it's a good psychological game which plays with perception.
The motion controls in this game were superb, and I have no idea why people who have complained about them complained at all. They were actually some of the best and most responsive I've experienced on the Wii.
People tend to complain about the running sections, but I never found them anywhere near as frustrating or confusing as I've heard many people make them out to be. I actually thought they were kind of fun and helped with the flow of the game.
Also, I don't consider the game at all a "re-imagining of the first game." It's a different game with a different story which uses names from the original game. I would have preferred if they just used altogether different names in this one.
Soul Calibur IV 360
TMNT Gameboy
TMNT II Gameboy
Golden Axe Sega CD
Streets of Rage Sega CD
Revenge of Shinobi Sega CD
Rebel Assault Sega CD
Jurassic Park Sega CD
Sonic CD Sega CD
Soul Calibur II Crube
Altered Beast Genesis
StarBlade Sega CD new!
Polygons gone wild! Or maybe "Polygones wild?"
StarBlade plays more fluidly than Stellar Fire, another polygon graphic based game. In the end, it's not as good as a game that boasts a super fx chip, but it is still worth a play. No thrills, no real story, but you kind of create the story in your mind as you play.

I really enjoyed Breath of Death VII, but I haven't started Cthulhu Saves the World just yet. I'm playing Gaudia Quest in Retro Game Challenge right now, and I really only like to do one RPG at a time. I'm thinking I'll start Cthulhu next though! Also, I cannot WAIT to play Wukong, Beggar Prince, and Pier Solar! Just need to find the time to play them!

22 hours of play, 100% complete!
just joined this thread. can i make a suggestion that people post the approx. # of hours spent on the game if possible? i find that an interesting statistic in general, but also pretty useful when pacing myself and deciding what to tackle next.
