New airport scanners.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Local airport here reported smooth in the news. Either the protest not as severe or maybe extra agents on hand speeded the process.

I didn't repost it here and I forgot where it was now, but I saw a report that at least one airport didn't pick anyone for secondary screening and the scanners were just turned off, yet were putting a bullshit "see how smooth we're running today we're awesome!" spin on it.

Well! I would say the threat of the protest and the fear of packed travelers caused a win for the traveler in this situation. Freedom for the masses.

A search on google turned up a bunch of results on that theme.

This crap is really starting to irritate me. I'm gonna visit family state-side in summer and I really hope this has gone away by then. :(

I seriously want to fly so I can be given the choice of the pat down, and I'll make "I'm so turned on right now" noises if it's a man doing the pat down. Hope that will traumatize them enough.

Nah, nah. Turn your head right and cough. Or work up a huge erection before the pat down.

No scanners or pat downs on my vacation. I guess the babies finally got their bottle.

Are you saying you got through w/o issues or you didn't travel?
