Games You Hate That Everyone Else Loves

Halo is actually a decent shooter though it could have done with a lot less flood but the reason i hate it is because of the crappy ending. It pretty much killed all interest i had for the series.

Which can be summed up like this

"We did it we won"

"Yeah well there is more"

Roll credits and undermine all feeling of having done anything significant at all.

Well one can play Halo with 4 players on one screen and have all of them online in same game. There's no other good xbox360 games that come close to match this feature. Have 2 TVs and 2 xboxes and 2 halo cds in the same room and those cables and you have 8 players in the same room, put that online 8v8 and you have greatness. Real time screaming at teammates in the same room.

That alone makes it un-overrated in my books.

Considering I have never played Halo's campaign, I can't comment on that. I only play it at my friend's house and it's always multiplayer. But I have probably spent more than 100 combined hours on it, so I'll say it's replay value is excellent for the money. And considering none of my friends have really said Halo's boring now (and they said Rock Band's boring in like 20 hours combined probably...thats with many downloaded songs, rock band 2 and beatles...personally, I still love Rock Band more than Halo =D), I'll say my friends agree Halo's not overrated too.

But I see where you're coming from.

I think that Call of Duty 4-6 is extremly overrated. I've played them all and I think Brothers in Arms is alot better.

I'd say that the Halo series is overrated, but the original Halo is an amazing game. I've played that damn campaign so much I've got it nigh completely memorized, and that's not even taking into account the excellent multiplayer.

The second two just seemed like the same game, slightly polished, but without any soul.

I'd say that a big disappointment for me was ToeJam and Earl. I picked up the game a while ago after hearing about how great it is, and it just bored the crap out of me. I played it with a friend of mine, both of us knew how great the game is supposed to be, and neither of us could get into it. The art style is great, it's really funny, and the random level generation is damn impressive. The issue is just that the gameplay is ridiculously slow, and difficult to figure out without resorting to the manual.

I like the Tekken games but I've always felt that the series is overrated as a whole.

Virtua Fighter is the original and has always been much better looking with tighter controls.

I hate Tekken, the whole series.
I beleive the moves are ridiculously unreal and the characters are ugly.

Virtua Fighter is a better game in every aspect and hasn't received the attention it deserved.
