I'm just lying there in bed, knowing I'm in bed and attempting to sleep, yet I'm having dreams and feeling the things in dreams (physically and mentally), but I'm not asleep. If I move I'm back out of that state, but otherwise I'm in this weird half thing. I also know I have been getting less sleep, but I haven't felt tired. I've also felt extremely hot at night when I'm trying to sleep, no matter the temperature.

My ups and downs have been a bit more sever lately too, although I don't know if any of this is related.
Once again I'll recommend you seek professional help.
So they can tell me I have mental problems, further lowing my nonexistent self esteem, leading to more social problems, and more than likely some type of pill that changes how I think? I don't like the idea of that.
Do you like how you think now?

If the pill fixes a chemical imbalance in your brain, that's a good thing. You admit you feel depressed, sad, and now you're telling us about physical symptoms, but still you refuse any and all help. To be honest, you're depressing to more than just yourself.

We're not even sure my sleep issues are related here.

I'm fine with the way I think now, because it is the only way I've thought for as long as I can remember, and I'm too scared to do anything that might change how I think. Nobody in real life says anything to make me think they are bothered to think that I have a problem other than the occasional comments about me being negative, which I don't really see as indicative of anything.

I shouldn't even need to say anything here.

I feel the same was as Drifter regarding mind-altering substances. I refused anesthetic while getting broken bones set and during tooth surgery - that surgery when I was eight years old. People have called me stupid for that - lol. It was not stupid. Those who take it profit nothing.

Personally, I value the sanctity of my thoughts more than I do my emotional stability. This could be taken from me by torture, by electrochemical manipulation, or by someone bashing me in the head with a rock, but I will guard it.

However, refining, improving, and yes, changing the way you think is a good thing. Just keep in mind that you are in charge of it. Don't confuse a strong personality for a sound argument or an absolute fact - that is, don't even worry about anyone else's influence. There's no point. One must be fed before he can feed himself, and every single word you know comes from someone else. Now you're an adult and your brain belongs to you.

The weightlifter pushes up the most he can simply to add more weights to the barbell.

The fundamental thing - for everyone - is to become stronger. Cry, but don't cry helplessly.

But do they show re-runs or uplaod the game online later on? Do they sell them on DVDs maybe? or iTunes?
The winning team will probably have a "Road to the Superbowl..." retrospective DVD released of some sort. Also pretty sure i've seen previous Super Bowl's themselves on DVD sold on QVC or the "official" NFL store.

Anesthesia is very different from psych drugs. With anesthesia the goal is to allow you to put up with a larger amount of pain than you might otherwise be able to handle, so because different people have different pain tolerances it's not that unreasonable to forgo anesthetic at times. But that isn't this.

And let's be clear, no on here is actually qualified to diagnose ANYTHING. But numerous members have been commenting over the years that you seem like you would benefit from professional health. And that doesn't necessarily mean drugs; that's up for a medical professional to figure out. Maybe you just need a proper focus and guidance for getting your mental state in order. If your real life friends have never mentioned anything I'd guess it's because they're uncaring insensitive assholes (aka, teenage males). So just go do it already. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

It's a shame and kind of a waste.. An amazing actor, but overdosing on drugs.. I think we've heard this story many times regarding people in hollywood.. Though maybe I'm judgmental here and it was a complete accident..
