What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Stay away from BR 2, I've heard nothing good about it.

Battle Royale is cool.
But Hunger Games has Jennifer Lawrence.

Jennifer Lawrence is like a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10

I love everything about that woman, and "the trip" was one of the best Oscar moments ever.

Hunger Games is a good movie (BR is better IMO). Jennifer plays her role well, as do the others.

I have not read the book, nor will I.. I despise reading novels (my eyes get really dry and start to burn when I try to read novels.. its odd. Anyone else have this problem? Just curious.)

No. Buy some Clear eyes and read a book.

The book is wayyyyy better than the movie, and I'm not one of those "The book is ALWAYS better than the movie" guys.

I read a little bit about it. The fact that it's not based on a book like its predecessor sounds non-kosher. However, the rebellion plot sounds like the logical conclusion to the story. Sure the survivors of the Battle Royale could live their lives with changed identities, but there's not really a movie in that. ;) I think I'll wait a month to let the original sink in before I make my decision.

Oh yeah, Jennifer Lawrence looked good in the movie.

Are you reading novels on a tablet or on paper?

Ha, I remember watching that before. That deodorant bit at the end slays me.

sorry to cross-post, but this probably made more sense in this thread:

Actually this reminds me, I've been toying with starting a sort of unofficial 'video game movie club' on the forum. Where I don't know, we somehow try to all watch the same game-related movie around the same time and discuss. I feel like that could be fun, and we could bounce from like a documentary, to a live action, to an anime, and so on.

Despite challenging you to a boxing match earlier, I think this is actually a pretty cool idea, noise. If you do start it, what would you want to start with and how would you want to alternate between movies, documentaries, animation, etc.?
