Played for Summer Game Challenge. More thoughts in that thread. Really liked it even if some of the bosses made me rage. Great music as well.
Chronicles version, right?
There are actually three different versions of Ys on the PC.

I know it as "The Ys that is on Steam". But yeah, Chronicles if you wanna be all technical about it.

3. Thunderbirds - NES (March 9)
4. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 - Gamecube (March 22)
5. Army Men: Sarge's War -Gamecube (March 22)
6. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas - PC (April 5)
7. Army Men Advance - GBA (April 16)
8. Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death - PC (April 27)
9. Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX - GBA (May 17)
10. Symphony - PC (May 24)
11. Serious Sam: The First Encounter - PC (May 30)
12. The Lost Vikings - GBA (May 31)
13. *NEW* Star Wars Rebel Squadron II: Rogue Leader - Gamecube (June 21)
I got around to completing this one, finally. This was a launch title on the Gamecube? Well color me impressed. Movie clips in the menus, Wedge Antilles coming back to reprise his character, all the major engagements from the films (and then some!) and tons of extras that you'd find on DVDs these days. Very ambitious for 2001! Fantastic game.

1. King of Fighters R-2 (NGPC)
2. Dead or Alive 2 (Limited Edition) (DC)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time (PS2)
4. Metal Gear (PS2)
5. Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (DC)
6. Sonic The Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (NGPC)
7. Bust-A-Move Pocket (NGPC)
8. Super Puzzle Figher IIX (DC)
9. Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge (DC)
10. Puyo Puyo Fever (DC)
11. Phantasy Star Online (DC)
12. Among The Sleep (PC)
13. Titanfall (PC)

Beat the IMC campaign, which is "the good guys" basically. So there's another campaign to get through. It's a short campaign, but Titanfall is like PSO or Diablo, where you're constantly just running through over again and leveling up and getting better it seems. Either way, I put like 3 hours in today, leveled up to LVL8 and had just way more fun than I imagined. Titanfall is a total blast, looks amazing, runs super smooth and I can really see the allure in replaying it seeing as how even the main campaign relies on multiplayer. I honestly thought that a game built around arena style death matches would bore me, but this is just really addicting and interesting with the whole titan implementation, and the missions that aren't just so simple as "kill the most dudes in 5 mins," but rather incorporate a bit of a story-like element with the evacuation at the end of a mission. There's also tons of bonus shit to unlock, upgrades and achievements. Good stuff.

hmm...I don't think I "counted it" until I played both halves of the campaign to complete the "story"...
Glad you are digging it. Sucks my PC crapped out this weekend, or I'd be playing too.

It turns on for like 5 seconds and then dies. Won't even get to the monitor powering up most times. Last few times I got Windows up it kept crashing while playing Thief.

I've done cleaning and troubleshooting, but can't figure out the problem with much accuracy as I don't currently have much in the way of compatible spare parts to swap in and out. Maybe the PSU, maybe the GPU, maybe something else.
I've had nothing but crashes and problems with Windows 7 64 over the past few weeks and this seems like the end of the line. Ran stable as anything with Vista 32 for the last ~6 years while almost always turned on. I'm pissed that I switched. I know an upgrade was due, I just wanted it to be on different terms.

PSU and GPU would be the first guesses I'd have too. Did you at least try taking the GPU out and booting using integrated mobo video? (Assuming yr mobo has video)

ah gotcha. Sucks because your current pieces probably aren't worth the price to just upgrade. Are you gonna start planning a new build, albeit earlier than you had planned?
