Although apparently I don't know the entire Wu Family.

That's hot, and I'm proud they included Cappadonna and Masta Killa as actual members, as most tend to overlook one or the other as just satellites. (MK has been considered a core member since Enter The Wu, though he only had a single verse on the album on "Da Mystery Of Chessboxin'"... Cappa was a featured player until The W when he was considered a core member rather than getting tagged w/ "featuring Cappadonna" status).

Yeah, I pirated it for now and plan to order the CD as soon as it pops up on Amazon. Was worried for a short bit there'd be no physical release!

eh I knew there would be. It's gotten to be a fad lately: surprise release your album in digital form. CD version comes out about a month later. It's what Beyonce, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick, and Drake have all done with their most recent albums. So I knew that a major release like this would def be pulling the same thing.

yeah I'm looking forward to it. The reviews have been universally positive. But I can certainly wait another week, it's been an especially good year for musics in my opinion and I've had plenty of albums keeping my ears busy as it is.

I Like to Cha Cha is hilarious - it reminds me of Biz Markie's Benny & The Jets cover - and the Super Mario World samples put it over the top.

Yeah once you start getting out into the distant branches of the Wu Family Tree (a la Shorty ShitStain) you're definitely in some strange and uncharted territory.

THE LOW END THEORY



Honestly one of my favorite albums that I really need to get on wax. The best word to use this album is "crisp". The lyrics, bass, and beats are incredibly clean and polished.

I put this cd (it's this round thing people used to put music on) in my car, and in about twenty seconds, me and three of my friends were all bobbing our heads in unison to the beat of Excursions.

Very bare bones hip hop. It's loop after loop with doo doo rhymes, which is my preference for hip hop and LOW END is my favorite Tribe album.

Is LOW END Tribe's best album? No clue. As with the B-Boys, each album is it's own thing. Check your Head is totally different from Paul's Boutique, and Low End is totally different from the love Movement. What's great is that every one of their albums are great, yet different.

I was in the Boy Scouts around 14 years old, my acceptance to the crew was that I was able to Ollie over garbage cans. My troops were a mix of good kids and wild guys, very unorthodox imo. Learn something smart, and then something as equally as stupid. You can imagine the trips, drinking, breaking in to archery's, shooting 22's at squirrels instead of targets and trying to f**k other Girl Scouts (within our age I emphasize). Damn shame really, but some made it all the way, I didn't to say the least even had a nice shiner during the eagle ceremony, cause I fought my way through junior high.

Straight out da beatoven, has always been my quote since as a kid I literally lived off Beethoven st. which was misspelled beatoven. Guessing I t was a sign, both literally and figuratively.
