:? Car still isn't done. It's only been 3 days but it feels like an eternity. I only had the car one day. It has been 3 weeks without my own transportation. On the plus side, it's being fixed for free. Had the local Z club mechanic look at the transmission a week ago and when he was putting it back in he must have nicked the rear seal or something, since there was a tiny amount of trans fluid coming from it. Should be done tomorrow though. It was drive-able but it's not something you just want to leave alone.

:) Got another Xbox 360 real cheap. 60 dollars. This one doesn't seem to have issues like the other one and now I can finally play Forza and a few of the other Xbox exclusives I missed out on when I was focusing more on PS3 and PC. If anybody wants to play Halo Anniversary with me, I have 2 days of Gold. Gamertag is GoldfishRT

 The real highlight of the day. I got to go sailing this evening. Was really quite a lot of fun. I could see myself picking up the hobby if I had more money to spend. Was a perfect night too. Maybe a little warm, but not bad. Nice steady winds, calm enough to easily eat my Subway dinner in comfort. Did manage a few blisters though.

:) Not feeling as down today. My boss was being a jerk to everybody, so I know it wasn't just because I suck. My name is back up on our "leaderboard" and I'm working my butt off to prove that I'm worth something.

:( Still freaking sick. This sucks.

:( We downloading "Zoboomafoo" and "Wild Kratts", but trying to find a digital or DVD version of plain ol' "Kratts Creatures" is proving to be impossible.

:D My freshly molted mantis came out to be a really pretty "calico" color. That's a big change from the light tan that he was before. Now it's a waiting game for the other three to start their molts.

Smile: I usually buy my batteries at the dollar store, so I took a short trip there as I needed some AAA's. I looked around a bit this time (usually I get the batteries and scram) and was pretty surprised at what I found. I picked up a daily planner, a 5-pack of Gillette double bladed razors, a box of ziploc bags, a two pack of magic erasers, a toilet wand, a Charleston Chew, and of course the batteries.

The razors surprised me the most. $0.20 per double bladed razor is a steal.

You could rent one of those smallish uhaul trailers to pull behind your car and tow it home that way. It might cost a bit less than having it shipped to you.

Just borrowing a truck should suffice for transporting the thing.

If you don't have a truck, you can rent them from Home Depot for like $15 an hour. If it isn't more than 2-3 hours or so round trip, it might be worth it.

1. Call friend with truck.
2. Offer gas money and food/beer for after transport.
3. Enjoy cab.
