Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I pre-ordered that game the second I saw that it was up for pre-order. Quintillions of planets? Hell yeah, sign me up. I'll never run out of shit to explore; it'll be the ultimate time waster. "I don't know what to do. I guess I'll explore some planets no one will ever visit again."

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
It'd make more sense if this game was called No Man's Universe.
Protip: Exploring randomly generated planets is going to get boring fast.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Never played it until I got it for free a couple weeks ago in...some bundle or another. Or a friend gave me a Steam code. Don't remember. Hated the controls, have yet to go back to it.MrPopo wrote:Man, you must have blown through Elite Dangerous then.ElkinFencer10 wrote:I pre-ordered that game the second I saw that it was up for pre-order. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Would it have killed Nintendo to make the 3DS eShop downloading software screen show a progress bar, as opposed to a bunch of shiny colored balls randomly dropping into the game icon? I mean, I'd like to have SOME kind of idea as to how close I am to finishing a download for an eShop game. No, let's just watching dangling Christmas tree ornaments slide around and drop haphazardly. What genius came up with this crap.

I'm interested in this Stardew Valley game I keep hearing about. I've heard a couple of things that make me think I might not like it, but on the other hand, I've heard it compared to FoMT enough that it has my interest.

Good GUI and Nintendo don't mix.Exhuminator wrote:Would it have killed Nintendo to make the 3DS eShop downloading software screen show a progress bar, as opposed to a bunch of shiny colored balls randomly dropping into the game icon? Look at the background of the box, though. It does indicate progress, even if it isn't the desired granularity.
