NEED FOR SPEED trailer
A tad bit over the top.
What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Django Unchained
It is a lot better than I thought it would be. It has been some time since I have seen a movie that was made around the idea of presenting something artistic more than just trying to make as much money as possible for the lowest/cheapest tricks possible to get people excited over it. They just do not make them like this any more.
I liked the comic gun fights the most, Tarantino made me smile.

Fan made trailer?
That doesn't look like something Marvel would put out.

Found it through Newsarma. They've always been a reliable comic news source, not a rumor mill.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Over the weekend rented The Great Gatsby and At Any Price.
The Great Gatsby
I didn't have high hopes going into The Great Gatsby because I knew how it ended since its one of the books that everyone is forced to read at some point during school. However I thoroughly enjoyed the movie the characters were very well played and the sets were down right amazing. Definitely much better then what I was expecting after watching the trailers. I also have to say I am not a very big fan of Tobey Maguire, but he did very well in this movie.
Would rate it: Very Good
At Any Price
At Any Price on the other hand sucked major balls. It just kept going farther and farther downhill as I watched it. Basically it was a father son movie in which both were complete and utter dirt bags in their own way and as the story went on they became less and less likable. The ending felt like it needed to show the repercussions of at least 1 persons actions, but no everything is forgotten and the credits roll onwards
.
Would rate it: Mediocre at best

I never knew why The Great Gatsby or Pride & Prejudice are very praised. I saw an old Great Gatsby movie. I still do not get it... then again I am not sure why Lord of The Flies or Catcher in the Rye are praised either.Fragems wrote:Over the weekend rented The Great Gatsby and At Any Price.
