So what have you guys been watching lately?

Mob City. Pretty good. Fantastic cast. Unfortunately TNT has more commercials than I've ever seen.

I'm all caught up on Almost Human, and I'm digging it. It's a little bit Fringe, a little bit Terminator, and a little bit Blade Runner. Much of Fringe's creative team is on it, so it's probably going to be a great show in the long run. The music is very cool. I think it's by Crystal Method and it really makes the action sequences pop. It sounds like something out of some cyber punk anime. Every thing about the show makes it feel like it's in a different time and place even though the characters don't act any different than you and me.

Loved the Breaking Bad nods last episode too. Now and days, if you ain't throwing in a nod to BB in some way you're just not cool. The show makes me miss Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Fox has a solid Monday Night line up right now. Both Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human are good, and they definitely know what demographic they're targeting by pairing them together. I used to watch wrestling on Mondays, but the state of pro wrestling is such complete and utter garbage these days (unless you're into indie stuff) that I'll probably just stick with Fox on Mondays whenever they've got these shows on and just let my DVR record Monday Night Raw.

This season isn't just better, I'm calling it: Best show on T.V. right now! So glad it isn't the CW soap-opera it was last season.

The last few episodes in particular, were just so awesome. Diggler breaking into the prison to save his wife, and running across Deadshot. That episode was so action packed and fast-paced, it's what T.V. nowadays needs more of, and less talking heads. And it totally set-up for a future Deadshot vs. Arrow episode.

And how many comic book references does this show drop? It's hard to tell if we're gonna see future development with these characters or if they're just name drops to get fanboys excited. But I've seen quite a few.

-Kate Spencer (Manhunter) is Oliver's mom's lawyer. (Played by the hot doctor from Stargate SG-1, but a blonde this time instead of a red-head.)
-Amanda Waller (leader of Task Force X and the Suicide Squad) is Diggs' wife's boss
-Ivo Storm (creator of Amazo) is the baddie on the flashback island sequences.
-S.T.A.R. Labs is mentioned in news reports in the background.
-And Barry Allen is in the previews for the next episode!

Plus we already have the obvious connections of Black Canary to Sarah and Speedy/Arsenal to Roy Harper.

And OMG, that big reveal at the end of the last episode. I so didn't see that coming. I guess I should have with the nature of comics, but I didn't.
Does that mean his son could still be alive, too?

Anyone not watching Arrow this season, is missing out. And this is coming from a guy that gave up halfway through the first season due to it's soap-operish nature (which it no longer has).

It's definitely NOT the best show on television, but it sure is damn entertaining never the less. The thing I'm starting to appreciate about Arrow is that they build up to things that other shows would take for granted. We got a whole season building up to his decision not to kill, so it actually meant something. They're starting to bring super powers into the show, and because we've had a season and a half on this show without ever seeing any, it feels significant. It feels like the whole dynamic of the show is changing now that super powered people are entering it. This show is good at making the little things matter

Also, Batman nut that I am, every time Raz Al'gul gets mentioned on this show I get giddy. So I love that he got brought up again this week

I just started watching Captain N. I wish I would have found out about it earlier because I am really liking it so far.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

But I think you would agree that it was a great episode.

I thought the ending was quite fitting.

South Park has been surprisingly good this season, best one in awhile. They are really on a roll. I need to watch the conclusion for the Black Friday/Game of Thrones spoof and the season finale still myself, but pretty much every episode this season has been good if not great.

I have watched practically no regular TV for months.

When Breaking Bad was on it was the only thing I was watching regularly. I have the most recent season of Boardwalk Empire DVR'd...but really I am finding TV to be less and less compelling of late. I haven't watched South Park's new season for the first time in its entire run. All these shows that people watch hold almost no interest at all for me - superhero stuff, zombie/vampire stuff, crime shows - a giant bag of yawns all around. There are only two comedies that I enjoy on TV anymore and one of them (Curb Your Enthusiasm) is on its regular "maybe/maybe not" for a few years before a potential new season. Louie is the other, and has short seasons - not sure when it comes back. I guess Game of Thrones starts up again in the Spring?

I suppose I could try House of Cards and Orange is the New Black which people seem to like, but the premise of both seems relatively uninteresting to me. I am not sure how y'all manage to watch so many of these dreadful shows and watch them week in and week out.

Sopranos is in my top five or so favorite shows of all time. The first half of its run is better than its second half, but the whole series is excellent. Enjoy!

Elaborate meals, booze, and a group of friends works for me. But usually it's only for MNF, The Walking Dead, True Blood. Other than that I try to catch South Park as often as possible and if The Daily Show happens to be on, I'll watch it.

Oh! And America's Test Kitchen. That show is terrific.

I'm in the same boat, there's absolutely nothing on TV I feel like I need to watch. I think South Park went "south" quite a while before this latest season, Simpsons is the quintessential show that has overstayed its welcome, Family Guy went from mediocre to horrific crap to obviously crying out for cancellation, Walking Dead got old after two or so seasons (how long can you try to string suspense along without anyone making significant progress?), Breaking Bad is over, Monk ended a few years back, Agents of Shield is silly and cliched, Dr. Who rubs me the wrong way all over, and there's nothing on Adult Swim anymore.

Well, ok, I guess I exaggerated. I do enjoy new episodes of Axe Cop when they air.
