What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Sadly, we've had this very conversation before.
From what I understand, its a common issue with people who have low self esteem, they over react to criticism because they feel the need to defend themselves, or some kind of psychology reasoning. I don't know, its caused some huge issues in my family before, that's why I don't really ask people in real life for advice.

If you aware that this is a problem, then you need to do something to fix it (like, you know, think for a moment before you type something). The people on here are doing their best to be nice to you and give you some help. We are rebuffed every time we try to help, however, and it is getting a little old.

EDIT: Also, cut the whole "I can't help myself. I have low self esteem." BS. It is a complete cop out and does not in any way excuse you from being a jerk to people who are trying to help you.

I'll just stop asking for advice.

You don't have to do that. We are happy to help in any way that we can. It would just be better if, whenever we tried to help you, you were a bit more polite with your responses.

No thank, as I believe not asking for advice would be the most straightforward way to fix the problem, and it allows me to learn from my own mistakes.

Frown: No weekly TRUE BLOOD get together. Bummer.

Forlorn: Easy fix is "you don't agree" = no posty.

At this point, I will take either fix.

:( There's a 1970 Cougar on Craigslist for $1500, but it needs a motor rebuild and some front end work. I doubt I can keep the needed work under $4000, and it'd be rough getting a trailer up there.

In all honesty, its probably not even worth that, but I've wanted one ever since I saw From Dusk Till Dawn.
