Actually, I noticed that TV too. And the photograph's quality is higher than many of the early 80s console advertisements, so that was another sign it was later in the decade. It's amazing what all you can tell from half a blacked-out picture, haha!

That's from the NES box too. With the exception of maybe the Wii (which I don't have to check), Game system boxes are lacking in pictures of families having fun playing them these days. Pictures of families aren't extreme enough. Funny that older systems actually had harder to finish games.
