I've been looking at laptops ever since mine shit the bed last week.

I'd like a Mac but holy shit. Dem prices.

I really don't like this trend of super thin flimsy computers either.

IMO, the plastic ones don't hold up particularly well. Even ones that aren't abused (like mine) get cracks and discoloration, and the screen is pretty crappy for the price point.

I've really been enjoying having a Windows tablet so far, mainly since I can play PC games wherever I want. But, I do miss all the touch-enabled games that are so plentiful on iOS/Android. The Windows App Store doesn't hold a candle to either, neither in quality nor quantity. But, that's offset by my access to Steam.

paula deen says "niggers". She gets dropped from tv and from her major sponsors. The Internet praises The Food Network and Macy's.

Some duck dynasty guy says that he's a redneck bible thumper and that "homosexuality is a sin". He gets suspended by A&E (which at this point should called Reality Entertainment). The Internet bashes A&E for the suspension.

Now of course there are plenty of variables such as fan base, public exposure (duck dynasty is to Wal Mart as what paula deen was to Macy's) but both people degraded a certain sect, were both punished, and get complete different reactions from the peanut gallery.

Easy answer. Racial slurs are almost universally shunned except amongst the vocal racists.
