The spoils of my trades from last weekend, arrived throughout this past week:
SNES:
EVO - Purchase
BoF II - Trade
Brandish - Trade
Metal Marines - Trade
Metal Warriors - Local Pawn Shop - $45
Pocky and Rocky 2 - Trade
Nosferatu CIB - ebay buy-now - $40
SAT
Guardian Heroes - Trade (re-acquisition)
DC-JDe La Jet Set Radio - Trade
SF IIX Grant Master Challenge and
SF Zero 3 for Matching Service - Forum purchase, $90 for both
PS2/360Giga Wing Generations &
Psyvariar Ultimate Final &
Psyvariar Complete Edition &
Akai Katana - Shmups forum purchase on those 4
Filled a few more holes in my collection.
I'm down to (2) DC-J games I need (Karous and Cleopatra Fortune).
I still need about 8-10 SNES games including a few bigs (Hagane, Aero Fighters, Ninja Gaiden Trilogy...)
Psyvariar Ultimate Final ended up being a dup - I knew I needed 2 of the Psyvariars yet, but it turns out I needed complete edition and "Medium Unit".
My SAT US needs are down to one, Shining Wisdom.
A very very good week and was fortunate to be able to trade dups for the majority of it.

^Yes, complete, and thanks.
Nosferatu, EVO and De La Jet Set Radio have eluded me far longer and those are the ones i'm most pleased to add - those just never seem to be up for trade.
The Nosferatu was just a dumb luck, found it before someone else did. CIB usually does $85-90+ in that shape, so finding on ebay for 1/2 that was a surprise. I made payment about 75 seconds after it was listed - just random luck. It plays smoother than Prince of Persia, but not as smooth as Ganryu.

The Psyvariar games are fun. Have you played any of the series previously?

I've only played the DC version, "Psyvariar 2: The will to fabricate" - which I enjoyed quite a bit and if I wasn't so lazy, would start a thread for it.
Also, if my Psyvariar knowledge is correct, is the same (with minor additions/deletions, i'm sure) as Psyvariar 2: Ultimate Final on PS2.
I have no actual knowledge of Psyvariar Medium Unit or Revision, outside of understanding they are separate games and are both found on Psyvariar Complete Edition.

Just recently began hunting Shmups and went to a local store with that in mind... Used a few games I recently got towards trade in value and ended up with this nice haul. Excited about G Darius and the rediculous otomedius. Total cost to me was about 12.00.

What's really tough is that the PS1 version is $5. Definitely a collection "want" and not a "need".

Same here, especially since I've been buying a shitload of DC dating sims lately... lol
And Grauen no Torikage: Kapitel 1 for Dreamcast.
That's €250 for a game you can't even play anymore since the servers are offline.
Crazy is as crazy does...
