Abandon your children in the wilderness so you can play more video games. The wolves can raise them well enough, and they will have many fun-filled adventures.

Hey, I'm new at this! I'm still in the 3D Zelda-length tutorial phase (minus the annoying fairy/lightball) of this adventure.

Endless Legend is fun, but everytme I start to understand how a faction works the game implodes because it's very poorly balanced and the AI doesn't really work.

Yep, that's pretty much Endless Legend in a nutshell. The art and music make the game worth experiencing and I am glad it exists... but I am not really sure how well it holds up as a strategy game.

Have you tried Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes? It's a few years old at this point but I think it scratches the turn-based fantasy strategy itch a little better. I can also wholeheartedly recommend Age of Wonders 3 - it's a fantastic game if you are really into tactical combat.

It's just...dumb, you know? Like, how is a resource that gives you +20% Gold, +20% Science, +20% Food, +20 Influence balanced in any way, specially when you can stack it with 4 or 5 equally broken resources? It doesn't make sense.
