What shmup are you playing now?

I fired up lagless shmup mame To play Ketsui this morning using my Real Arcade pro.

It's criminal we can't get this game in the states without importing both the game and a Japanese 360. CRIMINAL I SAY. The DS version is also quite expensive.

Yeah, sucks we didn't get it here. At least we got akai katana, and espgaluda II was region free.

The English Cave twitter hinted a few months back that Ketsui MIGHT come over here, a bit late but still come out over here. I hope so. I mean Yeah Ketsui is basically Dodonpachi with Helicopters but it's still fast, and awesome and a good entry level shmup too.

I might get the DS version once I get my 3DSXL

The vast majority do. A couple of late in the day DS games were region locked even on DSi, and I believe they won't. That said, the only example I can think of is Pokémon Black and White, which are language locked - japanes cartridges only work in japanese systems, but English language cartridges seem to work in both North American and European systems.

I think only DSI branded DS games are region locked.

Just been playing Ketsui Arrange and DoDonPachi Arrange on Shmupmame 4. Cleared the first loop of DDP Arrange with a score of 116 million and Max Chain 607. I like this version

I picked up the Ultimate Shooting Collection for the Wii. I don't have any of those games on other systems so pretty excited. Of course this is hands down the worst shovelware-esque name you could come up with. I was pleasantly surprised when i found out what it really was.

Yea...the package is kinda bare bones aswell,think I picked it up for something like 2-3 bucks used...
I had chaos field on gamecube,while waiting to find a copy of ikaruga....
I happen to enjoy ALL 3 games on the collection,dun kno why it seems to get so much hate....
