Or just record yourself screaming obscenities the entire time you drive it. That'd be equivalent to 75% of the "game reviews" I see on Youtube.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I should record a video while driving to the corner store saying things like "Wow this car is cool" and "It has four tires, yeah" and "Hey..... check out this radio. It has buttons" and then post it on YouTube as CHEVY EQUINOX REVIEW. That's equivalent to half of the "game reviews" I find.

I actually LOVE wall scrolls, but I typically prefer them for fan art rather than official posters. I have two Fallout: Equestria wall scrolls in my living room that I got from BronyCon, and when I was in high school, I had a wall scroll with the official poster for the second InuYasha movie.Xeogred wrote:Wall scrolls freaking suck.

I have exactly one wall scroll. It was from a contest that Konami ran for Suikoden IV. So it's that, a medallion, and a soundtrack CD. Despite the supposedly terrible quality of the game (I quite enjoyed it!), the wall scroll is cool. I put it back up years ago, though.

I was picturing having the Doom poster framed, so for that reason I'm not too keen on having the flag (they're basically flags!).ElkinFencer10 wrote:I actually LOVE wall scrolls, but I typically prefer them for fan art rather than official posters. Also, the ones on eBay from China don't show a pic of the actual item. I'd be nervous about the quality of it.
On the plus side, AllPosters.com has a good amount of video game posters now. Just no Doom.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
For reasons of space and hardware preservation I think I'm just gonna emulate all pre-6th gen games. Hell, I mostly have been doing this anyway with all Retron 5 compatible games.
But I've reached the point where I feel that Kega Fusion is so much more practical than hooking up an actual Genesis / Sega CD, ePSXe is way more convenient than an actual PlayStation, and so on...

I've been using emulation for older CD based media for a while now just so I don't have to deal with older consoles that have finicky moving parts.

RGT: when you guys say "6th gen" etc... I have no idea what you're talking about. I just don't group consoles as a numbered set of generations. So unless someone says like "Atari 2600/Coleco/Intellivision gen" or "PS2/Xbox/GCN gen" I'm usually just lost and nodding my head and pretending I know what you mean.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I used to just sit there and try to mentally count out and group systems by their general time periods in my head. But mental math has never been my strong suite, so by the time I'm done the conversation is so far removed that it doesn't even matter anymore.noiseredux wrote:RGT: when you guys say "6th gen" etc... Oh, dear lord, Bone shaving off his beard meant that there was no extra cushion for when he fell and critically hit his head. That or the Maine wilderness has overcome the homestead and he's suffering from hypothermia. Perhaps we should send help.BoneSnapDeez wrote:For reasons of space and hardware preservation I think I'm just gonna emulate all pre-6th gen games...
....Or we could wait until we're sure the hyopthermia's kicked in and then go swipe all his stuff. Who's got a truck?
