Hey, this is the Internet. There better be a poster of Doom somewhere!
edit: OK, found it on Amazon. 24x18 or 32x24. Fuck the box, I'll frame a poster for my nerd room!

Even cooler is the massive manuals. I loved poring through those. I think I read more about Civilization than I actually played.
This was definitely me with Mech Warrior II. I spent more time imagining and reading about the game than actually playing it (I stunk at it also).

Oo, want. How much? Can you link me? Not that I have any money right now, but maybe in a few months.

I'm not too happy about the price.

Fuck that shit. I've never paid more than $10 for a poster, and I don't plan to start now.

I also found some on eBay, $10 shipped from China. But I think they're fabric posters. Not sure if I want that or not.

Wall scrolls freaking suck.
That price doesn't seem bad to me for something kind of obscure and badass as the Doom cover. But I'm a fancy poster guy I guess.

You know what's infuriating? Discovering a 10-minute "review" of an obscure game on YouTube only to find out it's some guy yakking into a mike while playing the first ten minutes of the game. Who the fuck decided this kind of thing was acceptable.
I have an Evangelion wall scroll I've never opened. Bought it on a whim at a con and then got home and said "I'm a married main in my thirties with a kid. Where the hell is this supposed to go in the house?"

Best to attach "no commentary" when searching for games on youtube nowadays. But if it was labeled as a "review" like you say, yeah that would be annoying. heh

I should record a video while driving to the corner store saying things like "Wow this car is cool" and "It has four tires, yeah" and "Hey..... check out this radio. It has buttons" and then post it on YouTube as CHEVY EQUINOX REVIEW. That's equivalent to half of the "game reviews" I find.
