What was the last movie you've seen?

Bit out of left-field but I think a good choice. Spader does creepy well and I'm guessing, as most people are, that this Ultron will be created by Tony Stark as a replacement for Iron Man. Maybe a corrupted Jarvis as the AI?

Anyway, I watched a trio of Godzilla movies this week. I've never really watched any "kaiju" films previous so it was a departure for me.
The films in question were Ghidorah the three-headed monster, Monster Zero and Terror of Mechagodzilla. I won't give a blow by blow for each one but needless to say I enjoyed them all with Monster Zero being my favorite. Who can so no to the Godzilla jig?

Some questions though: are there any Godzilla films with recurring human characters? Is every woman in going to be either the main guys sister or an alien/cyborg? Does Rodan ever find a mountain to live in that some jerk doesn't want to blow up?

That would make the most sense to me and would also introduce the Life Model Decoys (if we haven't been deceived already).

They did introduce the idea of Life Model Decoy in Avengers, as a joke.

Yeah, some Regal theaters in my area had almost no business on Tuesdays, so they made the ticket price $5 all day.

I had heard they were planning on making an Ant-Man movie. So if they go through the trouble of introducing him in his own film, why don't they want to put him in Avengers 2?

Ant-Man is Phase 3 (Phase 2 is already filled). It'll probably be the first Phase 3 movie. I'm a bit bummed that they wont have Pym be Ultron's creator also. But, this isn't some gross negligence, there's a plan let's see what it is first.

I think the reason they aren't introducing him in the Avengers movie is probably because it's a pretty crowded movie as it is, and the Ant-Man flick has been in the works for years. As far as I know.

Are you sure on this? ANT MAN is scheduled for 2015 and focus groups might be seeing it at the end of this year. I thought Hank was a Bug...er Big part of phase two (but I have been wrong before).

Time to make some calls.

Maybe they aren't going with Hank Pym as Ant-Man. I'd also add that a large part of Pym's character is his relationship with his wife the Wasp. So perhaps they would like to side-step that and have Lang or O'Grady as a more humorous version possibly with Simon Pegg as the lead.

Simon officially stated that he would not be Ant Man, but he is Simon Pegg after all.

I'm not super arsed about Ant-Man either way. I like Edgar Wright and all but I think his best work has been Spaced and the cornetto trilogy. Scott Pilgrim was a bit weak for me. His comfort zone, and Pegg's, is when they are fusing their love of genre movies with the minutiae of modern Britain.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the one I have my eye on. It just seems too comic-y even after Avengers I wonder how it will turn out.

Oh man, I can't wait for this one! The cosmic stuff has always been my favorite comic stuff.
